Ideal for a short break, lots of lovely walks but close enough to supermarket etc. Walked into South Cave and had a lovely pub lunch then walked back. The only small thing I can suggest is the apt needs some shelves to put groceries on and the garden isn’t private it’s shared with the apt down stairs but luckily for use no one was in it, could be a problem if you’ve dogs and the people sharing garden don’t like dogs ! All in all a really nice relaxing break would recommend
Excellent all round - accomodation high quality, working farm setting lovely and plenty to do/see in the Wolds area. Scones and jam on arrival were a welcoming touch and the bed extremely comfy ! Relaxing and chilled out atmosphere - first time we had been away with our nervous rescue dog, who settled in fine and managed very well. Would highly recommend, especially to wider family, and would hope to visit again. Thanks ! Howard, Pam and Forest the dog from North Yorkshire
A lovely 3 bedroom property with a hot tub. Always had hot water when needed. The bathrooms were clean and spacious and the sleeping arrangements were very good on the ground floor. Good communication from the owners. The surroundings were peaceful with some good open views across the countryside.
Lovely comfortable property. Very peaceful location with lots of things to do in the area. We will be coming again.
Excellent stay at the Barn at Wolds way cottages. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful and the cottage was well fitted out with everything we and our dog needed. Fantastic walks round the farm. Very well positioned for visits to the coast and Beverley and York and easy access off the motorway. Would definitely stay again when in the area
Lovely set of cottages in a peaceful, secluded location. Friendly goats, sheep, chickens and donkeys, our dog loved them. Nice touch with fresh milk, homemade scones and jam. Could do with a bit more kitchen cupboard space and a little dusty. Bit surprised Dairy Cottage was a studio rather than 1 bedroom but at least you could wake up to views of the beams. Slept very well for someone who has trouble sleeping. Excellent stay.
Had a lovely 4 day break at the Granary juat a shame the weather let us down, the granddaughters loved feeding the goats and didn't want to come home definitely recommend this place.
