What a fantastic find. Accommodation had everything we could ask for and the location was not only beautiful but also right on several fantastic walks. Manifold trail just over the hill, Wetton Mill, Thors cave all from walking straight out the front door.
Laundry room was an added bonus with all the muddy walking boots and clothes.
Highlight laying in the hot tub under the starry sky.
The host was very friendly and helpful.

We rented both cottages in order to celebrate Christmas with twelve members of the family. We had the most amazing time. Henry and Julie went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The cottages are spacious and were absolutely spotless. The hot tubs were a lovely added luxury too!
We thoroughly enjoyed being surrounded by stunning countryside and being able to enjoy scenic walks without the need to use a car.

Had a fantastic stay at this lovely, clean, comfortable, well equipped cottage. The location was just beautiful with walks straight from the door, Manifold Valley and Thors cave a must. Appreciated the lovely hot tub.

Gorgeous cottage. Very high spec. Beds really comfortable and cosy bed linen. Lovely well equipped kitchen. Stunning views and many fabulous walks from the doorstep. The Manifold Valley is beautiful. Really kind hosts who met us in Hartington when the road had flooded and showed us a back route. And very generous welcome pack in the house. Highly recommended. We have already booked to go again.

Once again (our 5th year!) a wonderful stay in Swaledale and White Park Cottages at Broad Ecton Farm. Henry and Julie as welcoming as always, and the cottages remain brilliantly equipped and fantastically clean. The underfloor heating wasn't much needed this year during the heatwave, but the hot tubs were! Loads of things to do if you are the outdoorsy type with dogs, horses, bikes, and walking boots all in full array. We are already booked in for next year - I can't recommend this venue highly enough!

The cottage has some much charm and luxury throughout. You just need to sit back and relax. Henry and Julie have really done their best to care about their guest needs and requirements. Extremely thoughtful and caring hosts. It’s so obvious they need you to enjoy your stay. Plenty of circular walks are available on your doorstep with good pub stops to help you stay hydrated as you yomp on. Breathtaking views all the way. It’s an amazing place to go and do lots or do nothing.

Hot tub and Prosecco.

We had the loveliest stay at Broad Ecton Farm. We stayed for 9 days in total (we extended our stay when we were there as we were having such a great time and Henry kindly let us!) Our two children absolutely loved being on a working farm with cows, sheep, lambs (we were there in lambing season which was amazing to experience!), chickens( my daughter loved collecting the fresh eggs every morning - they tasted so nice!) and 3 lovely dogs! The views from the cottage are beautiful, as are the nearby walks. The cottage itself is so well equipped and the hot tub is fantastic! Henry and Julie were so friendly and welcoming and all in all, our break away was perfect. Thank you so much!

We had a great time hiring both cottages for our extended family. The younger generation enjoyed the hot tub and we all enjoyed the comfort of the cottages interspersed with scenic walks. Can't recommend highly enough.
