The photos don’t do this place justice, it’s immaculate and the decor is a very high standard. Perfect distance away from hustle and bustle but we also had a gorgeous breakfast at the onsite restaurant. Highly recommend & would come back
This is the second time that we have stayed in this apartment. We absolutely love it! It was perfect for a family of four. The apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well-equipped and the appliances very easy to use. The view of the marina is perfect and the large balcony is a lovely place to relax. The walk into town is about 20 mins. There are a variety of routes but we prepared the walk next to the lake.
Fourth visit to Windermere Marina Village and it did not disappoint. Late arriving due to extreme bad weather but reception were understanding and very helpful, key and instructions left in safe place. On arrival apartment was warm with plenty of tea, coffee and milk ready for a very welcome hot drink, even treats for Molly the dog! Apartment beautifully appointed, with amazing views over the marina, everything perfect! We had a wonderful week, with only one disappointment, the apartment is no longer dog friendly so unable to rebook this property!

2 families sharing a 4 bed quality apartment makes overall cost very reasonable. Luxurious comfort in a beautiful setting. An ideal base to explore the Lakes or to enjoy a relaxing break. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thanks!
First time staying at this particular apartment, large and bright with so much space. Very comfortable and has everything needed. All appliances and utilities are excellent and has everything you need. We have been every year for 12 years and enjoy our time each visit.
Beautiful comfortable apartment with lovely views of the marina. 10 to 15 minute walk into Bowness. We will be booking again.

Excellent place to stay close to bars & restaurants as well as the Boat house on site. Very pleasant stay we have been coming for over thirty years
We booked townhouse number 3 and boy oh boy is it fabulous- we had my elderly mama with us who loved the ground floor bedroom- the views over the marina were great - the decor is lovely- such a restful place- we ate at the restaurant on site twice and had scrumptious food both evenings- we will certainly be back
We really enjoyed the apartment and views. Is was lovely to have sun on the veranda up to about 4pm Very clean and well equipped for meal preparation which is important to us.
Very modern apartment, beds are extremely comfortable and the apartment is furnished to a modern high standard. Sofas are plenty and they are of good quality and comfortable. Kitchen is well appointed and the bath is welcome after exploring the lakes. Apartment 16 has a double aspect view, across the marina as well as a side view towards the lake. It also has a double driveway at the side with gate access onto patio, handy if you want to take the dog to the small beach. Yet another first class stay at Windermere Marina Village. The staff were as usual first class We booked before we left for another stay.
We always book Townhouse 11, it’s spacious, always immaculate and a lovely location. We are looking forward to staying again already.
Would highly recommend Marina Village, have stayed here before but at different accommodation. Both premises were outstanding. The sunshine definitely helped. Paid a visit to the Boathouse on the Marina which was lovely. Staff welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent.

We would highly recommend the accommodation and location. Apartment was finished to a very high standard with everything we needed and more. Facilities at the marina were good and location is a short walk into town and equally good for exploring the wider area.
Excellent customer service, reception staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Had a 3 night stay in Winward 38 with friends for my 60th birthday. Fantastic apartment we were the first to stay in it after it had a refurbishment, which was beautifully done, very spacious, comfortable beds and great outdoor space with plenty of seating. The weather was nice throughout our stay so we had our early morning coffee on the terrace. Fully equipped kitchen area with everything that you need, including a wine fridge. Another lovely stay at Windermere Marina, friendly helpful staff. Apartment was well equiped, lovely and clean, but did notice dog hairs under bed along with a make up brush, which had obviously been left by a previous visitor.
Everything in our apartment was fantastic, bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was modern and well equipped, large TV and comfortable sofa, shower was spot on . Great view of marina, easy walk to shops and bars.

I was lucky enough to win the opportunity to stay here in a charity raffle. We had a call last week to say that the property we were booked into was unfortunately under repair and then moved into the next apartment. The place was great, location perfect and everything we needed on site. Really friendly team too!
Bright and very clean apartment with exceptional kitchen and bathrooms. Some aspects did show the apartments age. There was also a constant humming noise which became very irritating, especially at night . Excellent location for seeing the Lakes.
What a wonderful 5 days we spent in The Lakes. The weather was amazing for this time of year and our accommodation was perfectly placed for exploring. There is very little that we can complain about, comfortable, spacious and clean. Loved it, a great spot!
All very positive. A lovely stay. the only thing that would improve is the timings of check in and out. 4pm is very late and 10am quite early, perhaps the same as hotels with 3pm and 11am.

Excellent venue for visiting the Lakes. Excellent onsite restaurant. Within walking distance of wonderful amenities is the icing on the cake.
A superb apartment, everything you could wish for. The Marina location is superb, close for the bars and restaurants of Bowness for a great night out, close for the ferry to walk on the west side of the Lake which is so peaceful and quiet. On-site Marina View Bar is great for an after hike beer. Overall, quality of apartments are beyond reproach, staff friendly, great place to spend a few days or a week or more.

We have been coming to Windermere Marina Village for many years. We return because it is a beautiful setting, excellent accommodation and close to Bowness. Highly recommend.
The apartment was perfect for a quick getaway, warm and comfy. What more can you want? The staff are very friendly and the food was very acceptable.
We have stayed at the Marina eight times in various apartments which are always immaculately clean. The welcome pack is much appreciated. Apartment 21 is warm and cosy with a lovely outlook over the Marina. It would benefit from the provision of a new bed (king size). We look forward to visiting the Marina again in the future.
Great stay in a brilliant location. Walks into bowness on windermere lovely in the morning. Accommodation absolutely first class. Views over marina lovely. 3 bedrooms, all en suite and good size.
Was lovely, excellent location stayed several times now. Just wished the bar served New Zealand Savigion blanc by the glass, we heard a couple of people ask for it!
My wife and I booked this apartment for short stay during March to celebrate my 70th birthday, our wedding anniversary and our dog's 4th birthday! Excellent decision. With a stunning view over the marina, a clean and spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, plenty of wardrobe space and a welcome pack which provided more than enough kitchen cleaning supplies for a few days (even some small bars of hand soap and a full kitchen towel roll), we were very impressed. We have stayed in this complex on many occasions. It is set in an ideal location with lovely views over the marina. The accommodation is very homely, but perhaps aspects of it are a bit tired. This appears to be recognised by the complex as some apartments have recently been modernised. Staff are all helpful and friendly. We will no doubt return several times in the future.
Everything we needed. Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Minor door problem fixed immediately. Location great but it was unfortunate the ferry was not running. Good location for photography.
We stayed at the Windermere Marina in a lovely 2 bedroom apartment. It was quite luxurious compared to most accommodation in The Lakes. And yet it’s still dog friendly so our 2 year Lab had a great time too! The staff on site were very professional and super helpful. The location is great as it’s just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bowness but still within easy walking distance. We had a great time and will definitely go back again in future.
Booked the Bowness 2 for 4 of us and it was lovely. Not on the main marina row, but still such a lovely cottage. Upside down layout so you can benefit from the view to an older, smaller marina. The cottages are a little tired now, but that is reflected in the price (still very clean). Lots of utensils for 6 people and there is a bed that drops down in the lounge if you need the extra space. I would absolutely stay here again and the staff were amazing! Next time we would definitely move over to the marina side for the better view. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
Second stay at the Marina in two months. This property was a 3 bed townhouse and bigger than the property we stayed in previously. Although the property was clean, it is a little tired. Sofas tatty on sides of arm rests, and carpets need cleaning. A lot of fixed lighting present didn’t work. Eg, lights in wall up first flight of stairs, lighting in display cupboard in the kitchen, no oven light, and a light switch system in both the living room and kitchen which doesn’t work correctly. Stayed here on numerous occasions and in different apartments! But 51 is our favourite and it’s dog friendly! Fabulous everytime, staff are very helpful and it has everything we need. Home from Home. We will definitely be coming back!
The house Is beautiful looking out on to the lake and boats lovely setting the top room is my best. It’s warm and well equipped with everything you need! Well recommend it here we had a lovely stay and also welcomed dogs which is a big thing for us! Thankyou!!
A very warm and cosy apartment , with a lovely view over the marina when the sun did eventually shine . The whole kitchen and living space is great just one thing the settee’s are a little uncomfortable . Other than that would use apartment 35 again .
Windermere marina village is a great place for a break. South of Bowness, it is nice and secluded and despite the many properties is peaceful and relaxed Easy walking distance from Bowness means there is no need to worry about getting your car around the busy roads as the transport links are excellent. A super restaurant and bar, The Boathouse, on site provides a relaxing place to eat and drink while watching the boats The on site staff are friendly and helpful and available if needed. We will be back!
