We come here every year & have stayed in a number of different apartments all of which are very nice. Would defiantly recommend & a great location.

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. The reception staff are so helpful. The apartment was amazing, it was spotlessly clean with every utensil needed in the kitchen. Views were great too.

I stayed here with my son his wife and grand children we all thought the accommodation was great and the beds were lovely and comfy no problem with anyone sleeping. There was everything that you could need for all of us to enjoy our holiday and the weather was exceptional which made it even better. We would have no hesitation in book a stay here again in the future.
First class very spacious, clean and well equipped apartment. Relaxing lounge with great outlook towards marina through full size glass doors. Plenty seating and large table on beautiful outside balcony with view over Marina. Added advantage of facing sun all afternoon and evening. Kitchen very well equipped. All 4 bedrooms and en suites excellent and clean. Master bedroom is huge. However we did not use this as faces trees and a bit darker than those overlooking marina. Always a great experience. We have used the Marina nearly 20 times now and would never consider anywhere else to stay. Great for Bowness in the evening and great to get over to the west lake shore for hikes.
The location is perfect, lovely easy walk into Bowness, everyone is super helpful and friendly, definitely recommend, the stairs were a problem for my 89 year old dad but I have been given information on what flats to stay in on the ground floor that accepts our dog, we will definitely be back it’s a lovely little hidden gem, spotlessly clean inside and out.

Faultless. The apartment was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Stunning views. We were there for a wedding so it was very conveniently placed to attend all three of the venues involved. Nice to be able to have a nightcap on the terrace of the bar every evening. The staff were extremely helpful and professional and a big call out for Liberty who was super. Highly recommended.
Beautiful property finished to a high standard. Very happy with the location even after reading other reviews about noise from the road. It could be heard but not loud enough to disturb sleep.. The only criticism would be the en suite shower had black mould on quite a large area and was not a good look
This is our second time in this apartment and we had a lovely time once again. It's a stylish and roomy apartment with a very well equipped kitchen area and good wardrobe space in the bedroom. Bathroom is lovely. Parking right outside and an easy scenic walk along the lakeside into Bowness.Things to make it even better would include new pillows in the bedroom, maybe a bit of decoration in the lounge? Also, a handrail beside the shower. The decking on the balcony could do with a paint. This time there was a bit of a "doggy" smell in the kitchen area that we didn't pick up on our last stay. I have yet to have a disappointment when staying at the Marine. Would recommend it as a first class resort. Personnel always happy to happy. Keep up the good work.
Apartment excellent. This was our second year that we booked the apartment Only one small criticism is a lack of instruction books for the TV. We could not master it - although a call to the office and a man came and showed us how to get it to work and how to switch between the various operating systems
I love the marina village and have loved staying there since childhood. The prices have increased a lot (as has everywhere I suppose) and the way it is run has changed a lot. I was surprised that no last minute discounts are available anymore, and it’s full price even when booking for next day arrival (when there is still quite a lot of availability). A lovely, well presented apartment overlooking the marina. The apartment was very well equipped and provided a very relaxing stay.
As usual apartment 42 was excellent I would highly recommend for anyone to stay. Staff brilliant as usual.
Lovely apartment, very clean and well situated. Also it was on the ground floor and was very accessible for our wheelchair guest staying. Parking was also very easy and close to the apartment and to access with the wheelchair. The surrounds and marina are all very clean and well looked after. Also very close to the ferry - in walking distance. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely would return. .
The town house was extremely spacious and the view of the marina and beyond was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be returning!
We’ve just returned from a lovely week staying in this apartment. It was clean , well equipped and maintained and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We have been to the marina village about 5 times so far and would recommend it to all . We will be back!
We had a great stay and will return but perhaps at a different time of year to reduce the cost. I would recommend a few more products as a welcome, rather than just a few tea bags and pint of milk.
I have come back to Marina View at least 5 times, I absolutely love it. I love the views the large clean, well equipped apartments, the beautiful walk around the lake into Bowness. The staff are super friendly, helpful and I've it found the very best place to stay when coming to The Lakes
We have stayed here on several occasions on have always found the staff to be excellent, friendly and really helpful. The accommodation is always well maintained and we had everything for our stay, No complaints whatsoever brilliant place to stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again soon. The accommodation was of a very high standard, having recently been refurbished. Kitchen and bathrooms were very modern. Everything was spotlessly clean. Very handy for visiting Windermere and the surrounding area.
Beautiful flat , which is immaculately clean and well appointed. This is our second stay . Great position for exploring the area with fabulous parking and buses on the doorstep. The Marina is beautiful , peaceful and a great location.
The properties are perfect. Windermere 44 felt particularly spacious and being on the second floor and having a balcony made it even more special. It’s great to be a short stroll from everything Bowness has to offer but also good to be away from the busy centre when you need a bit of peace and quiet.
Wonderful stay. Very comfortable. The Lounge is lovely to Relax in " comfy couch". We have stayed at WMV, many times in pet free properties. We had no issues whatsoever with this changing to pets allowed. Reception ladies, WONDERFUL,as always. Thankyou, & we will see you soon.
Our first time staying at this property. There were 4 adults in our party plus a dog. The property is very spacious and well appointed. We had a lovely week and would definitely recommend staying here if you are with a party of 4 to 6 adults. Just about everything is thought of to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible including a small welcome pack including dog treats and a toy. Nice touch. We loved our four night break together with our two dogs. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the accommodation spacious, clean, and equipped with everything for self catering if needed. Secure parking for our car right outside the door with ample parking for visitors. The beds were enormous and very comfortable and the view of the marina from the lounge and large south facing balcony very pleasant and relaxing. The 1 bedroom apartment suited our needs. Not sure i would have guests as we have in other apartments as the bed is so close to the kitchen. We have stayed in 5 or 6 different apartments in Windermere Marina and this was kitted out to the usual high spec but it is tired and in need of upgrade - or even just a coat of paint.
The apartment was lovely, clean, spacious and the reception and maintenance staff were so pleasant and helpful.
We have stayed at WMV many times, the latest being for 10 nights over Christmas and New Year 2025/2026. As always, the service and helpfulness of the staff at WMV was first class and the apartment was warm, comfortable and welcoming and had been thoroughly inspected and cleaned ahead of us arriving. This is the third time we have stayed in this dog friendly apartment and will definitely be back again. Quiet location, clean and comfortable, plenty of space and lovely views.
A truly exceptional area for a relaxing break. Accommodation was excellent. Well appointed kitchen and living area. The Marina Village felt safe and secure. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. The village is a little far out of the town of Bowness. However, the town was very busy. We would certainly recommend the Marina Village for a holiday break.
Have stayed in this beautiful dog friendly apartment on many occasions and it never disappoints. It has now been made more homely with the addition of pictures, plants etc. Lovely large balcony to relax after a day out with lovely views of the marina.
We have stayed many times at the Marina Village and always enjoy our stays. The apartment was fairly well equipped but tired in places & would benefit from some TLC. There were stains on the ceiling in the lower shower area from water damage, I assume from the shower above. The carpets also had what looked like burn marks in areas. There were no champagne flutes, which is always disappointing but we were happy to use wine glasses. The upstairs/ attic room was incredibly hot, even when the days cooled down, opening the velux wasn’t ideal either as it was covered in cobwebs! One thing I would...more
The apartment is situated in a stunning location and within a very easy walk to Bowness and it’s many facilities meaning that we barely needed to move the car. The apartment was reasonably well appointed although a little dark even in sunny weather. It probably needs a little TLC as the bathroom door didn’t shut properly and the outside decking area needs some attention. Also need to supply more coasters! All in all a very enjoyable stay in the beautiful Lake District. We will be back! ❤️
What a lovely cottage. Bedrooms downstairs were an absolute bonus on the hottest week of the year as surrounded by trees - they were lovely and cool. The cottage is very nicely appointed with everything you might need. The location is perfect as there are lots of walks which can be done either from the cottage or taking the bus or a boat all of which are close by. We will definitely return
The Customer Service team were excellent, very helpful. We travelled with a dog and the team were very respectful of this, including a dog welcome pack. The lodge was great, a little worn but comfortable. Veranda needed a bit of a clean. On site restaurant lovely (upstairs particularly) but a bit pricey. Comments made to be helpful not critical. Great holiday, great accommodation, lovely resort, and lovely staff.
We've stayed at Marina Village many times over the years. Always enjoy our stay. First time in this flat and really liked it. Found it very clean, comfortable and quiet. Lovely view over marina. Kitchen well equipped. Quality furnishings. Welcome pack of milk/tea/ coffee etc was great as no shop nearby. Only thing needed is a bin to collect items for recycling and maybe better storage in bathroom for toiletries. Hope to stay again.

Booked the Bowness 2 for 4 of us and it was lovely. Not on the main marina row, but still such a lovely cottage. Upside down layout so you can benefit from the view to an older, smaller marina. The cottages are a little tired now, but that is reflected in the price (still very clean). Lots of utensils for 6 people and there is a bed that drops down in the lounge if you need the extra space. I would absolutely stay here again and the staff were amazing! Next time we would definitely move over to the marina side for the better view. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
Lovely peaceful location within walking distance to Bowness. Property has lovely views overlooking both the marina and the shores of the lake. On 3 floors, well maintained and very comfortable - Really enjoyed the stay here. Was amazing
Another amazing holiday, this is our 4th stay now . The marina village is so beautifully kept it's a credit to all the staff, all the ladies in the reception are amazing, helpful and so very friendly and knowledgeable. The housekeeping staff also deserve praise the property was spotless and clearly showed they take pride in there work ,also you can't forget the maintenance team who keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. Well done to everyone at windermere marina for making our holiday so special.
