The Apartment was beautiful, lovely views over the marina and very spacious, both bedrooms had ample space in them and the living room had a lovely feel to it, would definitely stay in here again
We have been visiting the marina for 30 years with our young and now adult children. First class accommodation and excellent location, near enough to Bowness to walk.
We had a brilliant stay at The Marine. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made such a difference to our whole experience. It was lovely to have people there who genuinely cared and were happy to help — proper personal service rather than the impersonal experience you can sometimes get with holiday lets and booking companies where there’s nobody to speak to when you need something. The apartment was lovely, had every thing we needed and more. We would definitely stay at The Marine again and highly recommend it!
- wasnt cleaned enough there were crumbs on kitchen surfaces - bedsheets were dirty, one had a hole the others had stains - dusty as well and cobwebs and dead moths found - NOT ENOUGH TOILET ROLLS - would suggest including hand wash, shampoo and conditioner & body wash considering for what u pay - upstairs loft bed is not very comfortable - would be nice if there was a lift to reach apartment as theres many flights of stairs - service/help was a bit difficult to get a hold off especially after 5 - beautiful view tho x
The views from the apartment were fantastic. The apartment was spacious and well decorated. We had everything we could need for the break. It was very clean and well decorated. The apartment complex provides a great yacht club for lunches and evening meals which were great value for money. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. It was quiet and relaxing and easy access to Bowness lake as well as shops and restaurants. We love it and have been several times
Great location, ideal for a short family weekend we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in and cooked two nights everything in the kitchen you need.
We booked a 5 night stay at apartment 32. As we entered marina reception staff were very informative . In entering our apartment we just opened the door and wow we were amazed at the accommodation. Everything was very clean and everything you would need was in it. Coffee machine , dishwasher , microwave, freezer & fridge, washer, & more. We will certainly be booking again .
Always a great experience. We have used the Marina nearly 20 times now and would never consider anywhere else to stay. Great for Bowness in the evening and great to get over to the west lake shore for hikes.
The property location was just perfect and the actual apartment was beautifully presented and decorated. It was in immaculate condition with every extra provided that you might need e.g. champagne glasses, ice cube trays, dog blankets and water bowls, umbrellas, tumble dryer, washing machine, microwave, toaster. We couldn’t fault the property, it was extremely clean, we were allowed to check in early and the staff were just delightful. We would come back again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable.
Faultless. The apartment was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Stunning views. We were there for a wedding so it was very conveniently placed to attend all three of the venues involved. Nice to be able to have a nightcap on the terrace of the bar every evening. The staff were extremely helpful and professional and a big call out for Liberty who was super. Highly recommended.
We had a fantastic stay last week staying in apartment 25 and would highly recommend. It was exceptionally clean very spacious lots of storage providing everything you could possibly need for your stay, the superlimg size bed was very comfy dont often get a comfortable bed when you go away. Comfortable and very clean apartment. Lovely view of the boats in the marina with a lakeside pathway nearby to take a 15 minute walk to the pier and to stock up on provisions.
Marina Village Windermere is the most beautiful place to stay. The views from our Apartment were amazing Very easy check in with information via email also staff in reception very knowledgeable and gave us all the information we needed The apartment had everything we needed . Beds were very comfortable and gorgeous bedding supplied. The fully fitted Kitchen had enough for all our party of 5. Both showers were easy to use and a really good size.

The apartment was beautiful furnished, in a wonderful location overlooking the Marina, Handy for Windermere and all the lovely shops and restaurants. The facilities were amazing, and we had a wonderful few days.

Had a great week , classy place to stay . I'm sure will be back with more family . Marina village was great place to stay . We had other family members staying at fallbarrow. They saw apartment said when they come to Windermere will stay here too .
Our only less than positive comment is that the sofa was very uncomfortable and difficult to sit five people
We stay at the Marina every Bank holiday. We stayed at number 2 The beds was very un comfortable My son came away with a very bad back. Two single beds pushed together. We felt the place is ready for a revamp. The place didn’t feel clean so we had to eat out on all occasions. I wouldn’t stay again in number 2 Very Disappointed
We had a fantastic stay at Windermere Marina Village. The apartment was spotless, beautifully presented and had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and washing machine. It was extremely comfortable, and the views from the balcony were absolutely stunning. The location was perfect for exploring Windermere and the surrounding area. We honestly couldn't fault anything and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!
Beautiful flat , which is immaculately clean and well appointed. This is our second stay . Great position for exploring the area with fabulous parking and buses on the doorstep. The Marina is beautiful , peaceful and a great location.

Comfortable, clean and well furnished apartment. Good quality kitchen equipment with Neff appliances. You are provided with washing up liquid, plenty dishwasher tablets, bin liner, scrubber , dishcloth, small tablets of soap and textiles. On checking in we were given a small packet of tea, coffee, sugar,salt and pepper and small milk. The reception staff were very pleasant. We didnt use the bar or restaurant. We couldn’t fault our stay: exactly as described. A perfect place for our family with all the necessary amenities.
We loved our four night break together with our two dogs. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the accommodation spacious, clean, and equipped with everything for self catering if needed. Secure parking for our car right outside the door with ample parking for visitors. The beds were enormous and very comfortable and the view of the marina from the lounge and large south facing balcony very pleasant and relaxing. Stunning setting, super comfortable apartment, well supplied with equipment, great TV, fab balcony, top class kitchen appliances. Only downside was the Lake District weather.
The property was more than I expected. Was perfect for our stay. Was in an ideal spot for the area great walk into the town. Would recommend this place to anyone
Everything was perfect from checking in to checking out. Best accommodation by far that I have stayed in in Windermere. Could not find a single fault from contacting the marina reception to book the holiday to the time we left. We will be back in 3 weeks time and can’t wait

We have just returned from Windermere marina village which we used as a base for family to meet up to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Have never stayed here before but will definitely book again- the apartment (no 50) was absolutely amazing, giving plenty of space to socialise together but also affording privacy, with bedrooms over 2 floors (with 2 en-suites) so was perfect for us as 2 couples. The kitchen had everything you could need and the utility with washer and dryer was a bonus. On site restaurant was a bonus - we really enjoyed the meal we had there. We were a party of 6 and stayed in Townhouse 5 Fri-Mon. The house was beautiful, plenty of space, very clean and good quality furnishings. Kitchen fully equipped. Everything was thought of . Ground floor at the side of the marina it was so calming and peaceful , we all loved it . Only negative was when people arrived at the one adjacent to ours the decking was no longer private ! Partial screening would have helped . This was the only negative for the property and whilst we would return we would chose another with no balcony/decking at either side .
Stayed here for a weekend as a family of 4. The marina itself is a nice place to stay, even if you just sit on the balcony and watch the boats. It's only a short walk into Bowness as well. The apartment itself was very good. Nothing to fault. Overall, highly receommended.
Clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for our week stay. Near the marina and not too far walk from everywhere . Great for parking.
The place itself is lovely, the bar on site is fantastic in every way. We felt that the apartment was quite outdated in the furniture and style and little things were overlooked like the door to the balcony was so stiff it just needs some wd40; the place should be triple glazed as the road noise is constant and it's loud. The ornaments in the corner shelf upstairs were full of dust. Little like this shouldn't be overlooked when people are paying a lot. Other than that it was great.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Windermere Marina Village, the cottage was sparkling clean and well furnished, with clear instructions provided for all appliances. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. We also dined onsite one evening, it was convenient to be able to bring iur dog to the restaurant, and the food was lovely. We will definitely book again in the future.
Top floor apartment. Two bedrooms. Not suitable for people with difficulty climbing stairs. Stairs are very shallow treds. Overall comfortable place. Not the comforts of other units we’ve stayed in before. Kitchen floor was sticky. Perhaps something housekeeping had cleaned it with? Box provision in kitchen of washing up liquid, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, cleaning cloths/sponge, tea towels, bin bags. Oven super clean. Very pleasant stay, plenty of space and equipment for 3 couples. A point you may wish to address was the windows on the top floor don’t open fully as they catch the blind when raised
