This apartment is just amazing from the staff in reception being so helpful and friendly to our whole stay the apartment was immaculate had everything we needed and a perfect location we all felt like we were on holiday a short walk into Bowness and the onsite bar and restaurant excellent. This was a Xmas present for my family and we can’t wait to come back next year x

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. The reception staff are so helpful. The apartment was amazing, it was spotlessly clean with every utensil needed in the kitchen. Views were great too.
It was an amazing apartment very clean beds were great tbey thought about everything, staff were very friendly and were always there to help me with everything housekeeping staff were lovely too nothing enough trouble , its that good i am coming back next year xxx
I stayed here with my son his wife and grand children we all thought the accommodation was great and the beds were lovely and comfy no problem with anyone sleeping. There was everything that you could need for all of us to enjoy our holiday and the weather was exceptional which made it even better. We would have no hesitation in book a stay here again in the future.
Spacious, clean, beautifully presented. It really felt like a special treat to stay here, such a lovely spot overlooking the marina, you don’t need the huge tv, we spent all night watching the coming and goings of boats. Even though there were 7 of us, there was plenty of room. Great location in terms of getting around. Shame there isn’t a little shop on site but just plan ahead.
Always a great experience. We have used the Marina nearly 20 times now and would never consider anywhere else to stay. Great for Bowness in the evening and great to get over to the west lake shore for hikes.
The location is perfect, lovely easy walk into Bowness, everyone is super helpful and friendly, definitely recommend, the stairs were a problem for my 89 year old dad but I have been given information on what flats to stay in on the ground floor that accepts our dog, we will definitely be back it’s a lovely little hidden gem, spotlessly clean inside and out.
We had an excellent stay and the apartment was exactly as shown. It compares very well with other up market flats we have rented. The equipment levels were very good. The beds were comfortable. The balcony is more NW facing than west facing, so evening sun in June came late in the day. The Marina itself is attractive and the parking is ok given that underground car parks always have pillars. Outside spaces were an option. The check in and exit process was good. Better early instructions on waste disposal would have helped.
Great appartment and location. Very modern and well equiped. All bedrooms with on-suite so this suited our party perfectly. Cooker a little difficult to use, even after reading the compehensive instructions.
Lovely dog friendly property with everything you need for a relaxing weekend. Loved it and will return. ❤️
This is our second time in this apartment and we had a lovely time once again. It's a stylish and roomy apartment with a very well equipped kitchen area and good wardrobe space in the bedroom. Bathroom is lovely. Parking right outside and an easy scenic walk along the lakeside into Bowness.Things to make it even better would include new pillows in the bedroom, maybe a bit of decoration in the lounge? Also, a handrail beside the shower. The decking on the balcony could do with a paint. This time there was a bit of a "doggy" smell in the kitchen area that we didn't pick up on our last stay. Been staying at the Marina for the last ten years! The accomodation is of a high standard and the customer service is always excellent! The location is also perfect for walking and relaxing!
I have yet to have a disappointment when staying at the Marine. Would recommend it as a first class resort. Personnel always happy to happy. Keep up the good work.
Stayed Monday to Friday with 2 friends. Apartment and site were amazing, we were mesmerisedby the view from our balcony. We ate at the onside restaurant one evening and the food was very good and the staff very friendly. Loved that we were able to walk into Bowness from the apartment, we were able to jump on buses and boats. Bowness itself had a wide range of anything we needed. Had a great time and would definitely stay again and recommend to friends
I've been coming to stay here for many years, staying in various properties on site and they all tick every box. Windward Apartment 17 is very spacious, warm, comfortable, clean, well equipped and the balcony gets the sun in the morning and later in the day.
Comfort score only relates to bedroom being hot so didn’t have best sleep. As usual stay at the Marina very enjoyable.
This is our second visit and it was excellent. Nothing negative to report about. Keep it up. We used the restaurant and both my wife and selve were very satisfied with all the food we had, and would recommend anyone trying the 3 dishes offer…we had 6 between us and this gives choice not normally available in eating places.

This property was very comfortable and in a good location. The beds were extremely comfortable and I was very excited and entertained by having a tv which came out of the beds foot rest! It was certainly very quirky in the decorative features but it added to the charm of the property. Definitely recommend.
I have stayed in many of the apartments at the Marina village and all have been excellent. This was just as good and perfect for a single person or couple. Really comfortable bed and great view.
We had a great stay and will return but perhaps at a different time of year to reduce the cost. I would recommend a few more products as a welcome, rather than just a few tea bags and pint of milk.
I have come back to Marina View at least 5 times, I absolutely love it. I love the views the large clean, well equipped apartments, the beautiful walk around the lake into Bowness. The staff are super friendly, helpful and I've it found the very best place to stay when coming to The Lakes
We stayed in apartment 46 at Marina village. What a lovely apartment, very spacious, and very cosy! The balcony was huge and the views of the Marina were a delight to wake up to. The apartment had everything we needed. The staff at reception were exceptionally helpful and very friendly. We also ate in the restaurant one night, the food was amazing. I recommend eating there. I would definitely book this apartment again. 10/10

Beautiful flat , which is immaculately clean and well appointed. This is our second stay . Great position for exploring the area with fabulous parking and buses on the doorstep. The Marina is beautiful , peaceful and a great location.
The properties are perfect. Windermere 44 felt particularly spacious and being on the second floor and having a balcony made it even more special. It’s great to be a short stroll from everything Bowness has to offer but also good to be away from the busy centre when you need a bit of peace and quiet.
Always spotlessly clean. Everything provided. On-site facilities great. Only thing I would change is the over bath shower. Not good for older people, or anyone, to use safely. Bath too high. No grab rails. Bath very slippy.
Our first time staying at this property. There were 4 adults in our party plus a dog. The property is very spacious and well appointed. We had a lovely week and would definitely recommend staying here if you are with a party of 4 to 6 adults. Just about everything is thought of to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible including a small welcome pack including dog treats and a toy. Nice touch. We loved our four night break together with our two dogs. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the accommodation spacious, clean, and equipped with everything for self catering if needed. Secure parking for our car right outside the door with ample parking for visitors. The beds were enormous and very comfortable and the view of the marina from the lounge and large south facing balcony very pleasant and relaxing. Great base to explore Windermere and surrounding areas. Accommodation was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Really enjoyed our time here.

We have stayed at WMV many times, the latest being for 10 nights over Christmas and New Year 2025/2026. As always, the service and helpfulness of the staff at WMV was first class and the apartment was warm, comfortable and welcoming and had been thoroughly inspected and cleaned ahead of us arriving. Have stayed in this beautiful dog friendly apartment on many occasions and it never disappoints. It has now been made more homely with the addition of pictures, plants etc. Lovely large balcony to relax after a day out with lovely views of the marina.
Super apartment with marina views and a nice bar/bistro on site across the Marina. My parents appreciated the lift making access easy. Good stock of kitchen equipment too The only missing really was a place to trickle charge our EV at the apartment parking spot (would’t need a fast charger). We were able to top up at some fast Ionity chargers in Windermere which reception staff advised me of so that was all good in the end. Overall - excellent!
We have stayed many times at the Marina Village and always enjoy our stays. The apartment was fairly well equipped but tired in places & would benefit from some TLC. There were stains on the ceiling in the lower shower area from water damage, I assume from the shower above. The carpets also had what looked like burn marks in areas. There were no champagne flutes, which is always disappointing but we were happy to use wine glasses. The upstairs/ attic room was incredibly hot, even when the days cooled down, opening the velux wasn’t ideal either as it was covered in cobwebs! One thing I would...more
Stayed I the marina for the 3rd time definitely coming back lovely people and always great quality cottage.
Apartment offered all that is needed for a short break or a longer stay. Best sofas in any accommodation that we have visited. Nice sunny outside space when the sun appears.
The Customer Service team were excellent, very helpful. We travelled with a dog and the team were very respectful of this, including a dog welcome pack. The lodge was great, a little worn but comfortable. Veranda needed a bit of a clean. On site restaurant lovely (upstairs particularly) but a bit pricey. Comments made to be helpful not critical. Great holiday, great accommodation, lovely resort, and lovely staff.
Stunning accommodation lovely, location really peaceful with amenities so close lots of lovely walks, we had the best weather sunshine in the Autumn, if thinking of going and can’t decide go for it totally recommend
We've stayed at Marina Village many times over the years. Always enjoy our stay. First time in this flat and really liked it. Found it very clean, comfortable and quiet. Lovely view over marina. Kitchen well equipped. Quality furnishings. Welcome pack of milk/tea/ coffee etc was great as no shop nearby. Only thing needed is a bin to collect items for recycling and maybe better storage in bathroom for toiletries. Hope to stay again.
Booked the Bowness 2 for 4 of us and it was lovely. Not on the main marina row, but still such a lovely cottage. Upside down layout so you can benefit from the view to an older, smaller marina. The cottages are a little tired now, but that is reflected in the price (still very clean). Lots of utensils for 6 people and there is a bed that drops down in the lounge if you need the extra space. I would absolutely stay here again and the staff were amazing! Next time we would definitely move over to the marina side for the better view. Thank you for such a lovely stay.
Living room generally good but sofa uncomfortable. Shower really good, but bed not too comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. E say to walk into Bowness and catch bus to Ambleside or Grassmere. Shame about the weather.
Lovely peaceful location within walking distance to Bowness. Property has lovely views overlooking both the marina and the shores of the lake. On 3 floors, well maintained and very comfortable - Really enjoyed the stay here. Was amazing
We had another short but enjoyable stay at WMV. Booking and arrival was efficient and friendly. The Cottage was very clean and well equipped as always and location is good with Bowness in walking distance. I would however comment that Ambleside 4 cottage is showing it's age and would benefit from a general upgrade in particular dining room/ lounge furniture and some attention to bathroom eg tiling/ grouting. This did not greatly detract from our stay but the issues were noticeable and whilst we would return, perhaps not to this property.
