This is a top quality lodge with high standards for everything - the decor, the furnishings, the hot tub, the kitchen. Very comfortable and really enjoyable place to stay with a dog, who absolutely loved the garden. She could play whilst we enjoyed the hot tub! We will be back!
This was our second time visiting Meadow Hide and once again it was brilliant. Lovely lodge in a fantastic location, with fantastic walks for the lodge. Added benefit of the meadow being full of wildlife
We stayed over the Christmas week at the stables, the place felt homely as soon as you got through the door. It had everything you would need to make the stay comfortable in place as well as being decorated for Christmas. It was so peaceful and a joy to see to the amount of wildlife just outside your door especially the peacock sitting on porch grooming himself. Area is great to explore with plenty of countryside pubs for eating and just an hour from the New Forest which was a lovely place to visit. This is the second time we have stayed with Oakwood and sure we will be back to try another ...more
We booked this for my husbands 60th Birthday, and stayed with friends and our teenage daughters. The weather was amazing all weekend, the stables were beautiful and finished to a very high standard. Comfortable bedrooms, lots of space, plenty of towels etc. The hot tub was amazing and was used all weekend. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area. We would love to come back and stay again. Sarah was great help.
This place is such a good find. We visited with another family and between us we had 4 under threes and two dogs. It was perfect for our set up and the location was great with lots of toddler friendly activities/days out nearby, and the adults could all recover in the hot tub after bedtime! Sarah is a great host, very communicative and friendly.
