Owner was very friendly and helpful and knows a lot about the local area from where to eat to where to visit / shop .

We had an enjoyable stay in peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The Granary is spacious, well looked after and very comfortable. Our host was very helpful and easy to get in touch with.
The local bonfire night celebrations on the weekend were an added bonus!
We've just returned from a six-day stay at the Oast House, and from the moment we stepped inside, it felt less like a holiday let and more like a home. The owners have thought of and provided everything we could need, and it was sparklingly clean. We all slept so soundly; the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the quietness of the countryside is a real tonic. Our eldest slept in the single room, our twins in the double, and my wife and I took the lovely main bedroom with en suite. Surrounding area was lovely and there is a very good pub for food in the village 'The Merrie Harriers' just 2 minutes walk away. The cottage was generally very clean and comfortable. We found a few issues regarding general maintenance and left a note for the owner when we left. We did raise one of the issues with the owner when he turned up unannounced, regarding the garden bench which almost collapsed when we sat on it because it was so rotten, but he was quite dismissive and said that it was nearly the end of the season and they don't last forever!
