Beautifully appointed cottages in lovely quiet grounds. Plenty to do on site, including tennis court, indoor swimming pool and a small petting zoo. Highly recommended.

I think that this was our fifth time at Compton Pool Farm and we have already booked for next year. Loads to do around and about and great accommodation to come back to - warm, cosy cottage where everything is clean and works perfectly, with the added bonus of a swimming pool, tennis court and games room.

Best place I have stayed for a long time. It was a breath of fresh air!
From the moment we pulled up the drive to the car park, for views were to die for, the entrance seeing the cottage and the activities and the swimming pool was fabulous.
Our welcoming to Compton Pool Farm was fab.
The cottage itself, not a bit of dirt or dust, looked brand new! Essentials were present including bin bags, tea milk and sugar, hand wash, dishcloth, dishwasher tablets (we didn’t use ours) and a delicious coconut cake! Yum!!!
The beds were so comfy, towels for everyone. Little boys cot was up and ready.
We had a view from the patio at the rear of the the play area and animals, including a trampoline, slides swings, sandpit and a giant chess area.
The weather was brilliant whilst at Compton Pool Farm, which was a bonus.

Shops nearby lots of sainsburys. Which we used. Pubs near by which a lot used Blue Light card.

We visited Broadsands Beach, Goodrington Beach, Paignton, Torquay, Teighnmouth, Oddicombe, Babbacombe (best views) Babbacombe Bay hotel cafe was delicious. Best fish and chips was the Marina ones in Paignton. (Gluten free also).

I would 100% stay again!!!

Is there anything you think needs improving at Compton Pool?
The only bit was the bath was a bit of a struggled for my almost 80year old aunt and uncle. Maybe something to hold onto getting into the bath. And a hairdryer? We took our own.

Spacious cottage. All amenities on site and around. Plenty of paths fo walking. Very nice pool. Highly recommended.

Remote location, really fast internet

We have been visiting Compton Pool Farm for over 20 years. It's a fantastic place to stay. Not far to travel to Paignton, Torquay and Totnes and offers a relaxing place to stay if you decide to stay around your cottage and use the on site facilities. The new owners and the couple that manage the site day to day are friendly and the cottages are always clean and well equipped.

My children love the swimming pool

The new owners are making improvements to the grounds which are fantastic. My children loved the go karts that were previously on site so hopefully they will return once the weather is better

We had a great time staying here. Arch cottage was lovely, had everything we needed, and we all enjoyed the swimming pool and tennis court. The countryside is beautiful!
