We stayed for a family get together, a great view up the lake, facilities were fantastic. The open plan room downstairs worked well allowing space in all areas according to what the party wanted to do. The hot tub under the canopy area was great & provided shelter from the elements (not the warmest of weekends). As usual from Cotswold Waterpark Retreats - a fabulous home, presentation & cleanliness fabulous ~ would definitely recommend & we can’t wait to have another stay.
Excellent location, lovely comfortable property. Everything we needed was there, especially the cake and Prosecco (thank you Jo and Barry). Although the weather was a bit damp (the time of year, end of November) we had a relaxing time in the property with friends and visiting local picturesque villages. For a relaxing break we can recommend a stay here.
We stayed at The Barn for a couple of nights at the end of October. It was brilliant. The Barn is lovely! Really well decorated and nice and cosy as the weather is getting colder. Everything you need is there including lots of information on things to do locally. We did a couple of walks and went to the pub (Eliot Arms) in South Cerney.
Had a fantastic stay with family for a long weekend. The property was spotless (have stayed at other properties managed by Jo and Barry and cleanliness is always excellent)! We shall return.
A beautiful location overlooking Spring Lake. Very peaceful and relaxing. The house was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend it. A return visit is a must for us!
Absolutely Fantastic place and location, fantastic views. So clean & tidy with lovely finishing touches ie duck & swan food. Dog blankets & lovely cake. I will book again that’s for sure.
The mallard is in an ideal location, tucked away in the Cotswolds and a relaxing place to get away too. The house is stunning and fitted out with all the mod cons you expect The hot tub is a proper one and is lovely. The team are great and well informed. They do not impose but are on hand if you need them, there is plenty of space and privacy for 3 couple or a big family, an en-suite in every room is a big plus!
All I can say is we as a family and 10 week old baby had a fabulous time with a few nice touches as we had mentioned it was my daughters birthday and when we arrived there was a birthday cake , card and a bottle in the fridge which was unexpected but very thoughtful, everyone one of us enjoyed the stay as accommodation, creature comforts etc in our opinion where excellent, couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from it all in a beautiful setting and accommodation was faultless. Thank you so much to all for making it memorable
Can’t really give a review as my husband had heart attack not long after getting there so spent most of time in hospital So didn’t get the use of it
We had a great stay at the Heron Lodge. The property had everything you could’ve asked for and was in a lovely, quiet area of the water park.
Fabulous stay at kingfisher lodge. Everything spotlessly clean on arrival. Everything we needed was supplied, good quality oven and microwave, plenty of glasses, cutlery, kitchenware. Bedrooms, bathrooms were excellent. Couldn’t fault anything, will definitely be happy to stay again. Would highly recommended it to friends and family

This is a gorgeous lodge, we needed enough room for 4 couples, 2 dogs and a baby to celebrate a family birthday, the lodge was perfect, to the point where we’re considering doing it again next year. Plenty of room to eat sleep & relax, looking over the lake from the hot tub even in January was a joy.
Very easy booking and communication process throughout. Security deposit information strangely worded which was flagged but no issue. Agree with other reviews that Libelle furnishings are outdated and need to be reinvested in to add a bit more comfort and modern to the property. Perfect size property with lots of fantastic positives; in depth instructions of all appliances and local “to-do”, amenities within the lodge, location of the stay. Chlorine in the hot tub was definitely on the high end - anyone with sensitive skin/young kids I would 100% recommend at avoiding. Not sure when ...more
