Hi , fab lodge we had a wonderful stay, staff were very helpful. So clean and great location, sons loved the hot tub. I have an electric car and would be good to have an EV charging point. Thanks hope to return again!
We stayed in Purple Thistle Lodge 32 and the location was great. The hot tub looked out towards the fields and was quite private. Inside, the lodge was immaculate. The master bedroom was a decent size, with a double bed and an ensuite. It also had a huge walk-in cupboard. The other two bedrooms were small but absolutely fine for our stay. Each room also had good storage space. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The playpark was great for the kids. Exceptionally clean and everything in good working order. Missing router was replaced in less that an hour. Very tidy site, with a great on-site restaurant.
Reception so welcoming and friendly. The lodge was excellent in every way and with lovely views.The only thing that would improve it would be some table lamps in the lounge and master bedroom. Restaurant staff very accommodating and as we needed delivery to the lodge they met our needs.The food was excellent.
From arrival to departure couldn’t ask for better service. The lodge was very close to all amenities, very clean and comfortable with everything you needed and more. Beautiful furnishings, large fridge/freezer, oven and microwave. Double bed and en suite lovely and second bedroom with twin beds lovely with separate shower/toilet too. Restaurant on site excellent with a good variety to choose from. Definitely going again.
Had another weekend with my Family at Stewart’s Lodges. As usual the staff were fantastic. Try the Restaurant on site, meals are very good.
My friend and myself enjoyed our stay at "Sandpiper".It was very clean, cosy and almost next door to the harbour and a grassy coastal walk.My friend has mobility problems, so the internal stairs presented a problem from time to time, but she managed. Quiet too and my little dog was welcome as "Sandpiper" is dog friendly. Allin all a good experience.I hope to go back at some point soon.
Lovely, spacious and very clean lodge. Great decking area for dog too. On site bar was also very accommodating.
I have stayed at Stewart’s Resort many times now, with friends, family & with my husband & dog. Every visit has been excellent. Lodges are spacious, clean & have everything you need. Each time we’ve booked with our dog he’s had a huge fuss made over him which he loves. The site is a dog friendly site, there is no where he wasn’t welcomed with a pet in the head or a biscuit. Staff couldn’t be more accommodating & friendly with us. Only 4 miles from St Andrews so easy to drive in for the day. We’ll be back very soon to visit Stewart’s Resort.
We had a brilliant stay at the lodge it has everything you need to give you that home from home feeling. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated with everything to need to get started. The lodge is decorated to a very high standard and the views are exceptional. The only thing I could say is the double bed was not very comfy for me but this is a personal preference and would not let it affect a return visit here.
Lovely lodges, pet friendly & nice restaurant on site. Lodges have everything you need & are very homely.
We were return visitors and found this property to be just as good as last time. It was clean and very well prepared. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook any type of meal. The property is also well placed to allow you to explore St Andrews and the Fife coast.
The most beautiful cottage kept to perfection. The hot tub is a great addition as well. Plenty information to help you out. Had the best few days celebrating my big birthday with friends. This is a must view and stay worth every penny paid. Can't wait to go back again.
The lodge was clean and tidy with plenty of heating and hot water . Good facilities in the kitchen etc . The position was close to the main reception / bar area although this was mostly unmanned and closed at this time of year . The general upkeep was good apart from most of the vertical blinds being broken and the kitchen tap leaking badly when opened . We used the hot tub on the 1st night but the decking was dirty and badly stained 1 dressing gown and a few towels . This was the only time we used it as it is set out pretty open and the wind was unbearable . Overall it was good accommodation...more

Flat is very well appointed , very modern and clean. Think it is a bit overpriced though . Hosts were helpful . Left a small basket of coffee tea and biscuits and milk which was welcome on arrival.
The grange is a spacious house with a modern kitchen that is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and again the rooms are large and airway. The house has beautiful views out over the Forth and is practically sitting on the beach. We had a wonderful weekend. Our only negative was the lack of comfortable seating in both living rooms.
This was a beautifully presented home, immaculate and in a great location. The home had every amenity you could ask for and some lovely little extra touches such as biscuits and milk on arrival. The copper bath deserves a special mention as it was very luxurious and needed after some very long coastal walks. The back courtyard was lovely and can imagine in better weather a great place for a barbecue.
Thank you for a lovely stay, absolutely delighted with everything, nothing to fault, we had a lovely time. See you next year for our third stay!
Absolutely stunning lodge, better than 1st class, staff on site very friendly. St Andrews and Anstruther ideal for eating out.

Having stayed here before for a weekend, we wanted to return to celebrate our daughters 21st. It was as good as I remembered, very clean and spacious, even with 6 adults and a dog. Everyone loved the weekend and hope to possibly return on a yearly basis. The staff in reception on the restaurant were so friendly and made you feel very welcome.
The location, the lodge and the experience were better than expected would definitely return here for another visit. Wish our stay had been longer
Perfect location, great views. Private hot tub superb. Everything was great; the 2 areas we noted for improvement were updating the TV to a smart one and the sofa was uncomfortable, replacing this would be recommended.
The lodge we stayed in 27 had no WiFi and the phone signal wasn’t great, a dongle was provided but didn’t work great either. The grass around the hot tub was very muddy so wasn’t easy. I would recommend a slab or chips around and leading up to it or have it sunk into the decking area. Despite these two things we will definitely be back as all round experience was fantastic.
The caravan was immaculate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was nice but a little bit pricey for a caravan site. There was lots more storage in the van to keep it tidy!
Had a lovely time here, would be beneficial to provide robes and slippers in the hot tub lodges as we’ve had in previous less expensive places, very handy for St Andrews and the restaurant on site is lovely
There were no forks There were no tumblers for juice I was sure I booked a lodge with a hot tub and I was asked to fill in a hot tub form but there was no hot tub - I emailed but heard nothing as there was rarely anyone around in the centre Nothing was really open in the centre. Lovely and clean lodge and well kept estate but as very new defo needs to improve the centre side

No directions were left to understand how the appliances worked. Coffee machine not usable for regular coffee pods. No heat was available when we arrived. Could not find the thermastat until the next morning. Hidden behind tv in the living room. the timer was set that kept turning the heat down and there were no instructions on how to modify the thermastat settings. The thermastat on the hall wall did not work (was not functoning due to installation of a new one but we were not told that). Remove the hall thermastat to avoid cconfusion in the future. Generally very happy. Need better information on bin collection and up to date waste arrangements in the kitchen to collect separately waste and various recyclables
We recently stayed for 3 nights at lodge 50 Stewarts Resort St Andrews. I would highly recommend the lodge and the resort. The lodge had all the home comforts, including dish washer, washing machine, cooker, microwave. The en suite and family bathroom had fantastic showers. And after a day exploring St Andrews, it was great to come back to the lodge and relax in the hot tub and then chill out watching cable tv. The staff and facilities in Stewarts Resort were fantastic. This cabin is tiny and is only suitable for 2 adults & 2 children. There is a small double room where you can barely walk round the bed & the en-suite only has sink & a toilet is tiny. It shows a twin & a single bedroom in the pictures for this cabin but there is no twin room it’s only 2 single rooms which is false advertising ! These single rooms are minute only suitable for children as beds are tiny, they do have a pull out bed underneath but there is no room to pull it out. This is honestly the smallest cabin I’ve ever been in wouldn’t recommend it.
We booked the Tall Ship for a short break away in October, it’s perfectly situated, 2mins from the beach and all the amenities, parking is a 5 minute walk away. The facilities were great and we did thoroughly enjoy our wee trip! The only criticism we all had (5 of us) was that the quality of the beds let the house down, the 2 double beds creaked and squeaked to the point you didn’t want to move ! The overall quality of the beds were substandard and we all obviously didn’t get the required sleep!
