Very clean, staff were very helpful. Will defo be back. Great location and love the fact that it is all dog friendly!

The lodge was so lovely and spotlessly clean. The staff from reception to restaurant could not have done more to make our stay special from the start.

We had a fantastic stay at this resort. Very pet friendly and close to the town of St Andrews. Great value for money.

We arrived around 1530 and checked in at the reception. In checking in the receptionist informed us that we were too early for the welcome drink and to come back later. We did - twice. There were people who arrived after 1600 and they did not receive either. We were informed if we booked the restaurant we would receive a complimentary bottle of wine. We did this and when paying the bill I asked about this promotion. It seems a bit disjointed between the reception and bar/restaurant area. It was like 2 different entities where left didn’t know what right was doing. We did have a fantastic time and a hot tub does make the difference - especially if you have child(ren). Only small observation regarding the lodge was the WiFi wasn’t that great. It was okay for us as we didn’t use it much but if you were spending more time indoors in the winter months then this may be a bit of an issue.

Enjoyed our short weekend away in this quiet resort. Hot tub was a bonus. Lodge was warm and comfortable and provided a good base

Lovely resort only minutes drive from St Andrews. I would definitely go back however would not stay at Lodge One again. It has no privacy for the hot tub and you feel like you are in a goldfish bowl. We were offered to change however the hot tub wasnt ready and that is why we were there so we politely declined. There were a few minor issues when we checked in however the staff moved quickly and professionally and sorted everything instantly. The lodge wasnt the best stocked as we had to ask for a frying pan and only two pans and no hairdryer. I think if they had an inventory to check off this would be a better system. I wouldnt like to be accused of removing anything when it wasnt there in the first place. All in all a lovely peaceful stay and look forward to when the bar, restaurant and shop are open as these were all closed so we missed out big time. It wasnt a big deal going into St Andrews for food as the hourly bus stops right outside the estate.
