We really enjoyed our three night stay in the Kestrel Lodge. It is bright and airy , nicely furnished and equipped, and it was very clean. The comfy large sofa and snuggle chair were ideally placed to take in the view. The bed was also very comfy with nice bed linen. The shower room had a large cubicle with a powerful shower and nice fluffy towels. The Sonus speakers and Spotify are a great touch, especially if, like us, you prefer to listen to music than watch TV! The tablet used to control these also doubles as an information guide. We highly recommend the Barn Owl Retreat after our fantastic Easter weekend stay! Drawn initially by the promise of a great view, we weren't disappointed – the scenery from the cabin was stunning. It provided the perfect backdrop for a truly wonderful and relaxing break. Sarah was exceptionally helpful and responsive in all our communications before arrival. Even with some mixed weather, the cabin itself was a cosy haven, allowing us to fully unwind and recharge. A perfect spot for a peaceful getaway!
We had a FAN-tastic long weekend at the Peregrine Retreat. The lodge itself was clean, furnished, spacious, and comfortable. It was the perfect amount of space for the two of us plus our pup. The view surrounding the area is beautiful -- It made us feel like we could be anywhere in the world. The property owners had loads of walking routes, pubs, activities, shops, etc in a booklet for us so we were spoiled with choice and with extra treats, for that matter. We felt safe and happy; a home away from home :-)
