Wow, what a place. It felt like walking in to a home curated just for us. Fresh local cheese on the side, cupboards stocked with herbs and spices, wood for the fire ready to go... I can't stress enough how easy it was to settle in. Definitely somewhere I'd come back to.
We are just home from another lovely stay at Jumble Cottage. We have decided as a family it is one of our most favourite places to stay in Seaview. The cottage is cleverly and beautifully designed to make the most of the stunning views and its location in the heart of the village and a stone throw from the beach makes it a truly perfect stay. Can’t wait to return.
We have just had the happiest of weekends with three generations of our family at Bay House. It is in the absolute perfect location just one minute up from the beach with glorious views from its' front windows across the Solent. There is also a lovely outside terrace with all weather comfy chairs and a dining table. The house has a wonderfully warm feel about it and a very well appointed kitchen/dining room. Really lovely house - great location for walking to the beach. Excellent responsive host - huge thank you to Daisy and her team. We really enjoyed our stay at 40 Trelawny Way. The house was in an excellent location, very close to the beech and the village in a quite residential area. The house is very comfortable and we really liked the open plan layout on the ground floor. The house benefits from a good sized garden and our teenage children enjoyed having the separate TV room and use of the table tennis table. Lovely to be able to cross the solent and within a short period be at the beach and in a lovely house. So close to the water and conducive to relaxation and loads of walking. We didn't mind the multi living floors and having the top floor with the velux windows was great with good views of Portsmouth. We worked a couple of days in the week and the internet was pretty decent. The brewery across the road was a bonus. We would definitely consider staying here again.
4 generations (plus the dogs) on a short break and it was a perfect place to stay. Short walk to a small beach to let the dogs have a swim in the sea. Easy access by car to all the local towns. House was clean and tidy with everything you needed. Thank you
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at San Rocco. The beds were particularly comfortable. We did not have a car and found the position a little further from the beaches than we had expected, but this did not spoil our visit and children and adults had a great time, thank you.
The decor of this property has been done tastefully and to a good standard however we found one of the sofas and the double bed quite uncomfortable. The bathroom is adequate but small and as previous comments have noted it is a shame there is no downstairs loo. The location and size of the cottage are all accurately described and as we expected as regular visitors to Bembridge. We were pleased and grateful that the owners supplied on request a new iron and ironing board and that an interim cleaning was done during our 2 week stay.
