Lower Elsford Farm is located within the Dartmoor National Park, Devon. The farm is complete with an indoor heated swimming pool, games room, high-speed internet to each cottage & children’s play area. We are located in an excellent position, allowing you to explore not only our 32 acres, but all parts of Devon, and in particular, the 368 square miles of Dartmoor National Park
We had a fantastic stay while staying at Torfield cottage. Very well maintained, spotlessly clean and incredibly well equipped, we literally didn't want for anything!
The location on Dartmoor is great with lots of open space and walks from the front door. Paul gave us directions for the long walk around the farm which we really enjoyed. Saw a herd of deer while up near the Tor and the chickens on the way back to our cottage.
The swimming pool is great, nice to be able to swim at our leisure. The games room was fun and Paul's jukebox was great to play while playing pool.

We stayed in a lovely clean and comfortable cottage with everything we would need, set within the most beautiful grounds, with excellent amenities for the children. The location was gorgeous, peaceful, and ideal for exploring Dartmoor National Park, the coast, and everything else the area has to offer. Jan and Paul were such welcoming hosts, they went above and beyond with little extra touches and great local recommendations. We absolutely did not want to leave, and cannot wait to rebook. There really is something special about Lower Elsford Farm!
We found the accommodation and facilities to be high standard and in a lovely location. The grounds are lovely to walk around and the Elsford Tor in the far field is a very special place, and one which our grandchildren would love to climb and explore! The views are very special as you look over the moors themselves. Well positioned for accessing the moors, Totnes and even Dartmouth. Once you are out of the smaller lanes, the roads are free flowing and easy to get around. Loved the 'games' room and enjoyed playing a lot of records we grew up listening to in 70's and the juke box.
