One of our best trips to Devon. The place is incredible and the swimming pool is great. It is worth every penny.
Managed to acquire "Pond View" at very short notice, Paul made booking straight forward and on arrival the property showed the care, injenuity and detail that had been applied. Every concievable extra was at hand, there was probably a left handed corkscrew somewhere, the swimming pool, games room and play area were top class, even if our chort stay didn't allow us to participate. (A cream tea provided a lovely surprise on entering the kitchen). Read glowing reviews before, can it be that good, yes it can.
We had a fantastic stay while staying at Torfield cottage. Very well maintained, spotlessly clean and incredibly well equipped, we literally didn't want for anything! The location on Dartmoor is great with lots of open space and walks from the front door. Paul gave us directions for the long walk around the farm which we really enjoyed. Saw a herd of deer while up near the Tor and the chickens on the way back to our cottage. The swimming pool is great, nice to be able to swim at our leisure. Great vacation with lovely hosts! Big pool, fireplace and good playground. The Garden View House is cosy and nothing is missing. Thx a lot, we‘rw coming back.
