We had a wonderful stay at old chapel house, we were greeted by Laura on check in and everything explained, the house is stunning and very well equipped, we ate out in local restaurants Mario’s, Barlick Raj, The Bull at Broughton all were lovely and we found a great butchers called Nathen Browns they sell the best smoked bacon and sausage, we had nice days out in Hawes and skipton and went to find the farm shop Robertshaws - we would love to come and stay again Thankyou very much for a lovely week xxx

I visited Old Chapel House over the Easter break with my family - 7 of us in total and the house was perfect for our stay. There was enough room that we could all enjoy our own space but then come together at meal times or for a game around the large dining table. Laura was a great host - nothing was too much bother and she answered questions we had prior to our visit. We enjoyed time in Blackpool, Skipton and attractions like Towneley Hall in the local area. The property was clean and comfortable and well-equipped for the 7 of us. The kids loved doing an Easter egg hunt around the property and courtyard. Plenty of storage space and a great little boot room. The kids loved exploring the house and we all enjoyed looking at the photo book which showed the restoration process - such an interesting history. We also enjoyed some treatments at Elyssium next door.
The only negatives - well not even that - just little niggles were that the towels weren't large bath sheets so they were fine for the kids but not really large enough for adults and that you had to be in the shower to turn it on so got showered with freezing water. There's also no shaver socket upstairs - we eventually found one in the cloakroom to charge our electric toothbrushes. Also, and this is probably just me, but none of the bathroom lights are dimmable so they are really bright - just my preference but when showering in the evening I like a more subtle light. Had there had been one above the mirror that would have been great.
We had a really wonderful week and loved exploring the surrounding area. We were all really sad to be leaving and my kids are still talking about the house now! Thanks Laura and the team for a great stay.

This stunning property was perfect for a group of friends for a weekend break. Very well equipped, a lovely space to relax and unwind. Beds were super comfortable and bathrooms modern and spacious.
We loved the area, particularly the walk up Pendle Hill and our visits to Settle and Malham. Laura is such a friendly host.

Birthday celebration weekend.

The old chapel house is a superb property, tastefully designed with a homely feel. Property has ample space for 8 people and is great for socialising with its expansive downstairs space. The house is perfectly located, within distance to other great places such as Clitheroe and Skipton. Property is in good condition, with all amenities you would need, particularly on the kitchen. Barnoldwick is excellent with plenty to do, lots of quirky bars and cafes. I would definitely recommend this property. Laura is very welcoming and great host always at hand to help out with queries on where to go, where to eat etc
