Just over a mile away from Manor Farmhouse our beautifully hand-crafted Shepherd’s Hut is the perfect getaway.

Lie back and relax in your own wood fired hot tub and gaze at the view with a glass of wine. Or stay in bed and listen to the birdsong while you sip your morning tea or coffee.

The Shepherd’s hut is totally private and has a wonderful view from every window. Deer, foxes, badgers, rabbits, kites and buzzards are regular visitors.

There are miles of walking straight from the door over Bredon Hill with several pubs on the way all serving food.

There is an antique refurbished World War II trailer with a giant comfy bean bag where you can stargaze at night or sunbathe in the day.

We are chuffed to have been awarded a Gold Award by Visit England

In short, the Shepard’s Hut is simply magical. It felt like we were living inside a Roald Dahl book, specifically ‘Danny Champion of the World’.

We have stayed in a few others in the Cotswolds before, but this is the best bar none!

Be that the peaceful secluded site tucked away below a beautiful hillside, or the magnificent views down the valley from sitting in the converted trailer on top of the hillside above the hut enjoying a glass of wine in the evening, or even stargazing at night, it was just fabulous.

The accommodation its self is amazing, even more so when you learn that it was self built by Will (there is a set of pictures to see in the hut - unbelievable!). It has all you need inside and feels like a luxury retreat away from the pace of modern life. All essential items catered for so you can relax and enjoy your time getting away from it all.

The hot tub, bbq, fire pit and hammock are brilliant touches, and the surrounding wildlife (there is lots of it - pheasants, dear, woodpeckers etc) make you feel so in touch with nature and your surroundings.

We will 100% to coming back again for sure.

Many thanks to Liz and Jamie (owners of the farm) who were warm, welcoming and even let us feed the new born lambs which was a brilliant way to end our magical stay in this stunning corner of the Cotswolds.

Many thanks

Cameron & Margot

The perfect location for a peaceful weekend away. It has everything you need to relax; the wood-fired hot tub was perfect and we enjoyed watching the local birds and wildlife.

The hut is verry nice and quiet located, with beautiful surroundings and fine walks. Sufficient facilities though the hot water tap sometimes cannot deliver enough. The hosts are more than friendly, and there hospitality is great.
