Wow! The accommodation is beautifully furnished with high specification on all fixtures and fittings. Set in a lovely rural area with super views, quiet and relaxing. Before we arrived were asked whether a shower chair was needed and what sort. My partner has MS and we have stayed in many supposed ‘ground floor accessible’ holiday let’s only to find in reality they have no idea what accessible means, so having somewhere like this is refreshing to see and enables those with a disability to feel more independent and inclusive. Sarah is an excellent host who met us at the accommodation, always on hand for any queries we might have had and always with a quick response, nothing too much trouble. Wonderful welcome pack for us and one for our dog Freya. Visited the ‘pop up’ farm shop and came away with venison sausages and home made cakes - very yummy! We were here to visit family in the area and would definitely come again. Thank you Sarah and the Team!

This property is set in a beautiful village and well located for all that Rutland has to offer. Very comfortable and well maintained, the Tack Room and the Old Stables are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Sarah is a kind and considerate host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We booked this for our mum to go away to with her partner as part of her 60th birthday. They had a very enjoyable and peaceful stay.
They said it was very clean and a beautiful space for them to relax with plenty to do nearby. The building is also accessible both at the entrances and the bathroom which was great for my mums arthritis.
The owner Sarah was also lovely to deal with for both me, her son trying to arrange nice little surprises for her such as flowers, and for our mum who she checked in on.
I know my mum will be recommending this place to friends & family and I will be doing the same.

We had a week at The Tack Room and had a very comfortable stay. The place was spacious, clean and well appointed with excellent attention paid to the details. Instructions are provided for all appliances. We found the bed extremely comfortable.
We enjoyed having a lovely view across the fields from the patio and from indoors through the fabulous big patio doors. Seeing the cows occasionally in the adjacent field enhanced our time there. It's a delightful location in a small village within easy reach by car to nearby towns and places of interest, such as Rutland Water and Oakham Castle.
The owner, Sarah, was keen to ensure that we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and was very helpful in explaining about the local area with suggestions of what we might like to see. There is also plenty of literature in the property about the area.
It was a lovely place to stay and we will definitely be returning for another visit.

We found this lovely place on accessable holiday escapes as we were looking for a suitable holiday for my husband that has PPMS. This place was not only perfect for our needs but it's such a lovely place. The scenery was stunning and the location is lovely and peaceful. The accommodation itself is done out so lovely and is really comfortable too. We plan to return when we can in the future to try out the other accommodation here too with family. Looking forward to returning soon. Already have my eye on a few available dates. Thank you ☺️

I was really pleased to find this little gem of a place. It's really difficult to find accessible accommodation for just two people that is also bright, modern and well equipped. This was perfect for us both. The views and outdoor seating area were lovely. We ordered flowers and hadn't realised they would be homegrown - they were beautiful!
We were warned in advance that there was building work on a new cottage next door but it didn't disturb us in the slightest.
The accommodation is also in a beautiful area that we hadn't fully appreciated before. A list of accessible places to visit was sent to us in advance and this was very useful as this can take a lot of time to research. We managed to fill our 6 day stay easily with plenty more to do for any future visits.
Another useful touch was being able to book the exact days we wanted rather than being tied to certain start and end days.

The Tack Room is very comfortable, well-equipped, and restful. After a day at work, it is exactly what I need to feel relaxed and re-energised. The Tack Room is a cosy comfortable cottage. Clean and welcoming. It has all you need for self catering. The welcome bag of goodies is nice to start off the holiday the home made bread is delicious so are the fresh farm eggs

Super accommodation - just perfect for what we wanted/needed. Great location- peaceful, accessible and an excellent base for everything Rutland has to offer. The tack room was comfortable and spacious- even with two little people toddling about in it! We really appreciated the extra touches such as the freshly baked bread, milk and butter and the additional baby goods which we know were supplied just for us as Sarah knew we were bringing our 16 month old twins with us. We would love to come back in the future - perhaps with the rest of the family if we can hire both parts of your fantastic accommodation.
