Another great stay, over Christmas this time. Russell had even trimmed up for us. Everything there that you need, came back lovely and relaxed.
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage! It was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is fantastic—quiet, peaceful, and perfectly situated near local attractions, making it ideal for exploring the area. The front yard is charming with a lovely picket fence, a table, and a bench, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. Always a haven away from it all. Great hosts who are always available but never impose. Comfortable accommodation whatever the weather. Lots to do around and about and great recommendations for tasting the local produce… it’s not the first visit and it won’t be the last. Thank you.
Would recommend location and accommodation to anyone with wonderful views looking towards the sea along with views of the surrounding countryside Ideal location for parking and not far to drive into St Ives which has parking. First time out of season but have used the bus on the site in the past which is good value .
The property was immaculate inside (thanks Emma) and lovely to walk into, surprisingly spacious (we stayed in the stable). We had fun in the games room with table tennis and snooker for our use. The goats weren't too impressed with us oldies, but I'm sure they would play nicely for any kids that visit. The walks around seemed nice, although we confess we struggled with some of the stone stiles as being from Norfolk, we're not used to climbing of any description! Given a longer stay and better weather, I'm sure we would have found some nice walks to suit us a bit more. The communication...more
Having become dog owners for the first time earlier this year, our usual trip to St. Ives needed to be a little different as we usually stay in the hustle and bustle of the town and wanted a quieter location. After researching we found Trevalgan Farm Holidays and booked the Carthouse and it proved to be a perfect choice! The facilities are fantastic with everything you could need is provided.
