Stayed for a week in the Granary again, our 12th year visiting. Russ and Mel are excellent hosts, Russ has a fantastic relaxing way, making all his guests feel they are like friends. The Granary has everything one needs, including a nice cream tea welcome! Perfect for a couple or family, 2 bedrooms, one with a king-size and the other, two single beds, everyone gets a good night's sleep. Nothing is ever too much trouble, great hosts, lovely clean and comfortable accommodation and lots of unexpected extras that make you feel welcomed. Took the dog for the first time and he was also catered for impeccably. Hopefully more again this time next year. A gem.
This was our 3rd stay at Trevalgan Farm, once again we couldn't find any faults or complaints. Every little attention to detail made our stay even more complete. The booking process, communication, welcome pack, and departure instructions are great. The stunning views, peaceful location, dog walking fields and children's games room fill your days. We will definitely return. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and welcoming.
This our second visit to the farm with our little dog. We felt so welcome, with a lovely welcome gift. Place was spotless. Very comfortable. The thoughtfulness for our little dog was the tops!! Can’t wait to go back.
We are a multiple returning couple having stayed in three of the different accommodations available over the years. Russell and his family are extremely welcoming and friendly to this working farm, and nothing is too much trouble. From the Cornish cream tea on arrival and the free range farm fresh eggs available, with sea views in the distance and rolling lush Cornish countryside in the foreground…the peace and tranquility this accommodation offers is cosy and second to none with generous parking, yet only a few miles outside St Ives. We found the Carthouse perfect for our family, it was spotless, everything you needed to make you feel like home, we had our daughter and two adult grandsons with us, so five altogether, also my daughter had her golden doodle., and our little service dog, there was plenty of room for us all. Our son and his wife with a little grandson were camping in the caravan in the field next to us, they came over to have a meal with us all one night, it was fantastic, we would highly recommend the Carthouse, and I am a fuss pot where we stay!
