This was the 4th year in a row we have had the pleasure of staying in the Castlerigg unit at Keswick View. As we are from overseas we are grateful for an extended stay - this year for 6 weeks! The apartment and its location are perfect for us. Clean, comfortable, quiet, excellent kitchen amenities, superb customer service, and on site laundry facilities. It is extremely handy to everything Keswick has to offer. We are even members of the local library. We are great walkers and absolutely can't wait to get back to Keswick and Castlerigg apartment. Another great stay at Keswick View clean and comfortable accommodation and a car parking spot which is always a good thing when visiting Keswick
This is a wonderful location but it was very hot as we were in Keswick during a heat wave. With climate change, I would suggest ways to mitigate the heat -- awnings to block the sun into the bedrooms, ceiling fans, ways to open windows further to get better cross ventilation. Until this matter is addressed, I could not recommend Winlatter for summer stays.
