We been coming here for years. A great location in Keswick with its own parking (crucial!). In the evening its just a walk into town during the day you can either walk to easily reachable lakes and fells or take a drive further afield without hassle. Very good, attentive and approachable landlord
Everything at the Whinlatter apartment was as we expected from the website. The large sofas were particularly welcome! We had only two small concerns. The first is to do with kitchenware: there were enough plates and bowls etc for one meal for four people, but not enough for two meals. We were surprised by this: it seemed a bit minimal, and not very hospitable and welcoming. It wouldn't cost much at all to have twice the quantity of crockery - which would also make more sense of our using the dishwasher. And the only mugs were very large ones.
