Loved our stay at River Rest. We had fabulous weather last week but even if it wasn't it would still of been such a great place to relax for a week. The pictures don't do it justice. Very private, Clean, well situated. The lodge is comfortable & has everything you need. The village itself has a co-op takeaways & a great handyman store where you can buy Swan & Duck food for the many visitors you will have! Wonderful place shame about the fishing (WEED), very comfy only thing I would say and that’s it could do with 2 comfy settees , this is not a complaint just not Good for us oldies , would recommend anyone to book this property
We took our 90+ parents for a short break to Flag house -chosen with help from Tina at Norfolk lodges for its amazing position -lots to look at on the river boats/ sailing/ and feeding the ducks and swans which they loved.bedrooms and bathrooms all on ground floor and we didn’t really need upstairs! Would definitely return with more able bodied family and hire a boat!!
What an amazing cottage. Everything you could need for a lovely holiday. Spotlessly clean. Brilliant location. We had the pleasure to meet Tracy when we arrived , very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return 10/10 for everything
Hi well equipped lodge, just a few things that could improve it would be a small drinks table in the lounge area. Drinks had to go on the floor. Also brought our own torch, just a little one from Amazon always comes in handy, maybe it could be something to provide guests. Hubby is a fisherman and the trees were a little bit of an issue. We saw them in the photos but they’ve grown a bit since then.
Absolutely loved our stay in river bay everything in the lodge was absolute quality very very comfortable and everything we needed, it was very quiet and very peaceful it was lovely sitting on very comfortable outdoor furnature watching the swans and ducks
Lodge perfect as always, very relaxing just to sit on decking watching boats go by, everything we wanted for perfect holiday
We had a wonderful stay at River Breeze. The accommodation was really clean, very well maintained and in a quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed sitting out on the decking in the evenings overlooking the water and exploring the broads by boat during the day. There is a lovely cafe at the end of the marina which took around 10 minutes to walk to and we also hired kayaks and paddle boards from Pub and Paddle which were delivered directly to the property. Only thing I suggest is the balcony needs a proper safety rail there's a 4 foot drop, with only a wire cable a child could easily fall through it
