A very good property, ideal for what we, as a family were looking for, large enough for us all, access to some good walks in the immediate area as well as having the facilities we wanted and allowed dogs to stay.
We would recommend this to others and would look at returning in the future.

All I can say is wow. We stayed here for my sisters hen party. This place is amazing and the views to match. The house is beautiful and so well thought out, everything we needed plus added personal touches. So much space for all of us. Communication between the owners was top class and never a silly question to them. 100% recommend this place. Already thinking about going back

We stayed for a hen weekend and it was amazing from start to finish. Great communication from Jodi throughout the booking process too.
We arrived, the location was beautiful! House was very clean and tidy and had everything we could have possibly needed. We enjoyed spending time in both the kitchen and living room, we didn’t even venture into the cinema or bar room as we had more than enough space. The bedrooms were lovely and clean, ideal set up for group bookings.
We spent the Saturday afternoon outside playing games, the only suggestion would be once the building work opposite is complete there would be a large grass area for more outdoor space.
It was the perfect location and we had the best weekend ever! Thank you

We recently had a little girls trip away, absolutely loved Blackton grange, gorgeous house, immaculately clean and gorgeous interior! Phil who was a point of contact for the estate was an actual hero - we got stuck in the snow due to the bad weather and he was a knight in shining armour. It was good to know there was a point of contact as it is quite a remote area. WiFi worked well. Only downside is the hot tub is wood fired which unless you keep a close eye on either ends up too hot or too cold. Not too much of an issue but we weren’t able to use this facility. Overall a great weekend would definitely return

We had the absolute best weekend as a group of girls. The facilities are incredible, the location spectacular! Everything you could possible want and need in a holiday home was there for our enjoyment. Farmer Phil was our hero all weekend as we were welcomed with 3-4ft of snow and a flood! Nothing was going to stop us having a lovely time. Blackton Grange, take a bow!!

Stayed here for my hen weekend and what a weekend it was! The house is stunning, the bed are so comfy, the entire house was spotlessly clean. Leading up to my stay we asked the owner Jodi lots of questions and she immediately responded with answers and happy to help with anything we requested. We booked two of the recommended suppliers which were brilliant.
My only slight negative was the heating didn’t heat all the bedrooms very well and at times the water wasn’t very hot, but extra blow heaters had been provided and hot water bottles in each bedroom too, so it didn’t spoil anything. We had a plumbing issue one night and the emergency contact was there within minutes to fix it. I would 100% go back, and recommend to anyone. The location is stunning, so peaceful and pretty. I want to go back and do it all again!! Thank you providing your beautiful farmhouse to us and making my hen weekend memorable!

I have stayed with family at Blackton before but this time returned for a girlie weekend. We all loved it! The property has been renovated to the highest standard and the owners have thought of everything. We enjoyed darts and pool in the games room, a movie in the cinema room and relaxing in the hot tub. The location is simply stunning. I will return!

We had a wonderful break between Christmas and new year with a group of 12 us. The property was very spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated with a wonderful kitchen. The bar, games room and cinema were well used when the weather was too wet for walks and the hot tub ideal for warming up post wet walks!
Surrounding hills and reservoir were stunning with lots of good routes.
Communication during booking and reminders before check in and check out were prompt and extremely helpful.
We’ll definitely look at returning in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at Blackton Lodge over Christmas. The house is enormous with plenty of space to chill out - cinema room, pool room, outdoor hot tub. Crossing a dam to arrive was a first and we discovered lovely walks nearby. The kitchen is huge with a table that seats 20 people. Four ovens and two dishwashers make it easy to cater for a large party.

We recently had a long weekend family gathering at Blackton Grange .
The house did not disappoint at all .
It is tastefully decorated & all the bedrooms, bathrooms are to a high standard .
We loved the large Lounge , games room , dining kitchen , & cinema room .
There was plenty of space for us all to relax & have some family fun.

Amazing property for our occasion, everyone had a lovely stay. Bride to be had a fabulous weekend. Has all the home comforts to make stay relaxing and space to seat everyone for meals. Hot water tap was very good idea as we made cups of tea regularly and 2 dishwashers also excellent touch to make clearing up from meals much easier. Stella and Jodie answered queries quickly. Great location if you want to walk straight from the door.
