Located in Honeyborough in Pembrokeshire, the Barn is a dog-friendly cottage close to open farmland, as well as the magnificent Milford Haven Waterway. It is a perfect central base from which to explore all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Located in Britain's only fully coastal National Park, guests can easily access over 50 beaches, from 2 mile stretches of sand to sleepy coves off the beaten track. Enjoy stunning views from the 186 mile coastal path from St Dogmaels in the north, to Amroth in the south. Why not visit Skomer Island to see beautiful breeding puffins, visit the birthplace of the Tudor dynasty at Pembroke Castle or sample locally grown food at one of our fabulous restaurants? There is something for everyone to enjoy no matter what their age.

Myself and my Dad stayed in 'The Barn' for two nights in November as we we're visiting my younger brother who lives in the local area. The place was absolutely spotless. The kitchen was full of everything you'll need should you decide to stay in and cook. The beds were very cosy, and the shower water was nice and hot. It's located on a very quite street with beautiful scenery in the surrounding area. We will definitely be back next year, highly recommended 5/5

From the original contact at time of booking right through to arrival & departure both Dympna & Bill were amazing hosts. They met us at the property & ran through details with us, giving us recommendations of where to visit within the area., plus checking in with us to see if we needed anything further. Nothing was too much trouble, with plenty of updates via WhatsApp., this was greatly appreciated. The accommodation was comfy, cosy and well thought out with everything that you could possibly need - should you wish to bake or even like us do a full Sunday roast. The log burner was an added bonus, once again plenty of logs plus Bill checked in with us to see if we needed more. This I have to say is very rare when holidaying in the UK., as you usually have to purchase extra. Location wise the property is a good area to enable visits to many local towns & villages, plus beaches., woodland, many goods walks to be appreciated with stunning scenery.

Such a beautiful place to stay. We wanted for nothing. Home from home with lots of lovely extra touches. Fresh bread, butter and milk on arrival and local honey too.

Another very enjoyable stay at the Barn, the second one this year, which makes I think, 8 visits since December 2021. We always say it feels like our holiday home. It has everything you need and the location is ideal for all the places we like to visit. I have been coming to Pembrokeshire for 22 years and have stayed in many different places but would not choose anywhere else now.

Just returned from a wonderful week staying at The Barn. A beautiful contemporary cottage, very clean, extremely well equipped to a high standard, with the bonus of being very dog friendly. We were greeted by the owner Dympna on arrival, who took time to show us around the property, its facilities, local area and answered our questions. The use of their app before and during our arrival helped make our stay stress free, with information at hand. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of Pembrokeshire.

We loved our stay at the Barn. Everything was incredibly modern and every thing you could ever imagine needing was available. The kitchen was fully stocked with brand new utensils and appliances. The beds were extremely comfortable - we all slept so well. We were also able to bring our cat on holiday with us, which is not very common, and we are very grateful for this. Dympna and Bill were wonderful and on hand for any queries. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay.

We spent two weeks in the barn and we had a great time over there. ( it was our second time there )The cottage was very comfortable. There is absolutely nothing to complain!! There is everything what you need for an excellent time. We felt at home and even our dog felt great. The owners Dympna and Bob are very friendly and we had a few good chats together. The local people around there are very friendly too. If you like to go to church, you should go to St. Clements church. We met a lot of nice people there!!
Thank you very much for everything.

This was our 1st stay in Wales and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

The welcome from Bill and Dympna was lovely and the cottage itself was amazing. So comfortable and well stocked..they've honestly thought of everything you may need for a holiday cottage. Even having the child gates attached which prevented our 2 dogs from going upstairs was fab!

I would happily return, however, one wee ask would be for the wooden fence from the Coach House to be extended along to The Barn. This would make the property totally dog friendly and would've allowed us to keep the front door open. We were able to shut the main gate the 2nd week as no guests were in next door, however, we felt the 1st week that if guests next door came and went, they may have forgotten to shut the gate.

Don't let this put you off, The Barn was fabulous and a great base to visit in and around Pembrokeshire. We also drove up to Swansea and Cardiff as well as took in an overnight in Bath which was only 3 hours away.

I'll certainly be recommending this property to family and friends!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Barn, well situated for exploring Pembrokeshire, plenty of walks nearby, lots of adventures along the coastal path and beaches and some great local food recommendations. Our hosts were informative and helpful and the Barn provided everything we needed for a relaxing break. Lots of lovely touches, great welcome pack and excellent local information, which saved time. Very dog friendly. We will be back !

The Barn has everything you could need on holiday - a proper home from home. The small touches make it an amazing place to stay. We had a fabulous holiday and the location is perfect for visiting all of the amazing sights of Pembrokeshire. We would definitely return.

The barn was immaculate and we loved our stay! The bottle of wine and personalised wooden spoon for our anniversary was a lovely touch and meant alot.

The bonus of basic food and even an option my my dairy free wife showed they look after the smallest details.

Great safe space for the dogs to run about in too.

Good location for nature walks too.

The Barn was exactly as advertised very well equiped , beautiful comphy bed , we were given excellent directions . Loads of information in the property including maps . Of places to see things to do and good plces to eat . The welcome pack was very nice certinatly helped us with something nice to eat on arrival. We were greeted and shown around , given explantion of all facilities.

Enjoyed a lovely stay for 4 nights but could have stayed longer. Dympna and Bill were great hosts giving us all the info we needed before arriving. They had thought of everything and more! From the welcome basket ,easter eggs to kitchen equipment and items in the bathroom.

What a wonderful experience. Bill and Dympna were excellent hosts and made sure that our every need was catered for, from booking to after our stay. The cottage was by far the best we have ever stayed in and the facilities were second to none. The cottage was very clean, and had everything you could wish for in a holiday let. We were met in arrival by our hosts, and were made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and the cottage was beautiful. It was a lovely base to explore the wonderful Pembrokeshire coast and we will gladly stay again.

We stayed in the Barn which is for up to 5 people for our stay and was lucky enough to win this as part of a Xmas giveaway.

It has allocated parking, 2 bedrooms, large kitchen diner, living room and bathroom. There is also a landing room adjoining the rooms upstairs which has an extra bed and a desk.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There are plenty of crockery and cutlery. We also received a welcome pack which was a beautiful touch consisting of fresh bread, eggs, milk, honey and fruit cake. Recycling is encouraged and there are relevant bins for this.

In the living area, a smart TV is provided with access to Netflix and other streaming apps. My favourite feature was the log burner and there was enough wood and kindling available for our stay.

The bathroom was spotless and includes both a tub and shower cubicle. Towels are soft. I loved the little touches such as make up cleaning cloths and cotton buds.

The whole place was eco-friendly and noticed the use of refillable.

Both Dympna and Bill were amazing hosts and fantastic to work with. I would highly recommend this cottage.

I forgot to say, it's also pet friendly.

The photos on the website certainly lived up to seeing The Barn in real life. We were extremely tired after an almost 6 hour drive to Honeyborough, & couldn't wait to put the kettle on & start unwinding! We were shown how everything worked etc, and soon we were able to sit back & get over a journey that involved windscreen wipers the whole way! No need to unpack the tea etc, as everything is provided for the start of your holiday, simply everything has been though of. The welcome basket was a real treat, & the book with details where local places to explore were detailed, a real bonus. I would love to give 5 stars across the board, but as I was recovering from heart trouble, we only went out during the day, & I simply had to lay down each evening, as the tablets make me so lethargic - which left little room for my husband, who always then had the corner end of the corner settee, which made watching TV a bit difficult. If there were 4 adults (it sleeps 5) it might have been tight! Everywhere else in this lovely barn conversion was very roomy. The adjoining property had a small fenced in garden, which would have suited us more, seeing as we always holiday with our two dogs, it would be nice to sit outside knowing they were totally safe. All in all, a beautiful restored holiday home, in a beautiful area (nearby Marina had a lovely restaurant) as did Milford Haven Marina.

We will definitely get you booked into the Coach House next time as there is a huge sofa in there with loads of space.

The Barn is a super comfortable house that is exceptionally well equipped. Every last detail has been thought of.
It was spotlessly clean when we arrived with some thoughtful welcome gifts.
The hosts met us and explained everything.
Would definitely stay again.

The Barn was clean, comfortable and well presented. Everything you need for a self catering holiday.
Bill and Dympna are excellent hosts, nothing too much trouble.

My family and myself recently stayed in the barn and coach house for my brothers 40th and we were nothing but impressed with the cottages. They were both immaculately clean, provided everything we needed and more and the beds were so comfy. The barn in particular has a bigger kitchen and perfect for hosting. Dympna and Bill were so welcoming and explained everything to us when we arrived then left us to enjoy the remarkable stay. There were games provided, info leaflets for restaurants/bars and places to see and instructions for everything in the cottage in case we got stuck. I would highly recommend these cottages to anyone staying in the area. They were superb!

After a lovely trip bringing the New Year at The Barn, we returned for an Easter break. We were lucky enough to get the sunshine, so visited a number of Pembrokeshires beautiful beaches and restaurants- all recommended by our wonderful hosts Dympna and Bill. The Barn is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need for a home from home stay - from a washing machine, baking equipment and a slow cooker to board games and toiletries. It has a real luxe feel inside and on both visits we have been incredibly impressed how super clean the property is. I finally wanted to give mention to how the hosts make sustainability a priority; offering recycling facilities and environmentally friendly products for use. We loved it and will no doubt return again soon.
Finally, we think the property is in a great location with lots of local attractions for families and couples. Highly recommended.
