We had a fantastic visit to Cosy Nook. The cottage is a wonderful modernist with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It was immaculately clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Being in the gardens of Red House was such a treat. We enjoyed a glass of wine amongst the beautiful setting each evening and then watched the shooting stars with an incredible dark night sky each night. The cottage is situated perfectly for exploring the area, towns, countryside and beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Snape Maltings and watched an inspiring concert. We will certainly be recommending the Cosy Nook to all our friends. It is especially magical as a Benjamin Britten fan, we even visited the very welcoming archive and saw some original scores and letters!

This is a fascinating property in the Red House grounds. It was comfortable and well equipped and the surrounding gardens well cared for. There was plenty of parking but not adjacent to the property. We would book it again.

I spent a wonderful long weekend at Cosy Nook with my elderly mother. Although the house is simple, there is a feeling of spaciousness and all the rooms have plenty of natural light. It was a delight to step out into the Red House gardens so beautifully planted. Excellent towels and bed linen. Conveniently located to Aldebrugh. We’ll be back!

Delightful compact accommodation in the grounds of a large house with rich contemporary history. Lack of TV might trouble some guests, but the property has reliable Wi-Fi and one of the bedrooms contains an electric keyboard!
Aldeburgh is a pleasant 15-20 minute stroll from the property, offering many different eating options, interesting shops and its atmospheric shingle beach. Although it was pleasantly bustling during our festive visit, I suspect the little coastal gem is thronged with visitors during the summer.
