A perfect base to unwind and explore the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District. The holiday home is very comfortable, ideal for a couple or young family. The hostess Jean was so welcoming and friendly. A great playroom on the farm for children an extra bonus. Weathericks is a very sympathetically converted barn, homely and with the attention paid to detail.

Stayed here with 4 friends. The location is beautiful, rolling Derbyshire hills covered in wild flowers, with views of the lake. Saw lots of wildlife, Woodpeckers, a Barn Owl and Hares. The Barn was very well appointed, and had a large social kitchen table on the kitchen. All the beds were comfortable. Jean, the owner, had also provided lots of little extra treats for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to others.
