Stayed at Dunain Croy farm house with some friends for a 60th birthday getaway. The house is so welcoming, comfortable and in an idyllic setting. We loved the cosy evenings with the log burner lit and toasting marshmallows around the fire pit in the garden. The house is right on the canal and surrounded by fields and trees. We were visited by deer and pheasants and even by the Aurora on our last night. The house had plenty of space and all mod cons. A great cottage that feels isolated, yet is only 10 minutes away from Inverness. The property was in excellent condition and exactly as described, the hot tub is wonderful, but, does take some getting used to when trying to get the right temperature. The Garden is perfect if you have a dog as it’s fully enclosed. The beds are incredibly comfy and the showers excellent. I’d highly recommend if you are thinking about this property.
We had a wonderful stay at the Farm House on the Dochfour Estate. The house is within walking distance of Loch Ness and a few minutes' drive from Inverness. There is so much to see and do in the area, it is an ideal base for hikes. The house itself makes you feel right at home from the moment you step over the threshold. Absolutely beautiful this was our second visit here and it didn’t disappoint. There was a problem with the hot tub but was fixed in a couple of hours well done lads we wanted to thank them before they left. Absolutely perfect place to stay for us we love Scotland and it’s scenery and lovely people too look forward to visiting again.
Very comfortable and cosy property in a great location close to Inverness. Great outdoor wood fired hot tub with views down to Loch Ness and beautiful woods with plenty of paths right behind the property.
