We had wonderful three days in the cottage, which was cosy and had everything we needed; Very nice was the welcome package with milk, cookies, tea and coffee etc.! First day we could not you the hot tub, because it took really to long to heat it, but next day it was very hot and great to use. Only the name is a little bit misleading, the cottage is really secluded and has a view only from behind the house. Overall a really wonderful stay
Loch Ness Escapes have the most wonderful selection of holiday homes. Middleton Farmhouse is another. Set in a very large garden, the views are stunning and with dogs, you can just go through the gate at the bottom of the garden and a short walk takes you to Lochend. Inside the Farmhouse is no disappointment. The interior decor is extremely tasteful; the accommodation is spacious and very comfortable. 3 well proportioned bedrooms with the most comfortable beds, all made up with beautiful linen. We very much enjoyed our stay at Dunaincroy Farmhouse. The location was so peaceful but also very close to Inverness. The Farmhouse is very well equipped, with everything you need in the kitchen and 2 shower rooms, plus another bathroom. We spent our evenings in the cosy lounge with the woodburner. WIFI worked very well. Would love to stay here again!
Our second stay here and just as enjoyable as the first. The house has everything on the inside so much lovely nature and wildlife on the outside as well as being close enough to Inverness for anything we needed but far enough away that if felt like being fully in the countryside. Just returned from a wonderful stay at Garden Cottage. The location is stunning and the cottage is so pretty. Every amenity is provided and lots of extra touches. Especially useful for us were the stair gates both at the top and bottom of the stairs which takes the worry away when you have toddlers (no doubt this would also be useful for those with dogs). Towels for outside and robes for everyone was a great benefit. The cottage was warm and cosy and the garden was also a great addition as we had some sunshine so it was great to sit outside. Beautifully furnished and well equipped cottage in wonderfully peaceful countryside, yet only minutes by car from Inverness and Loch Ness. Great location, lovely views from the garden and brilliant walks for our dog straight out from the cottage into the adjacent woods. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
