An idyllic, peaceful location, good for walking with its nearby reservoir and nature reserve and a central location for access to the east Neuk and beyond, by car. A small disappointment for us when advertised as having a fridge freezer but in reality a fridge with icebox, but overall well appointed, comfortable accommodation. Definitely a place we hope to return to at some point in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay at ‘The Doocot’. It has a quirky layout which added to its charm. Had everything you could need. Its location was ideal - rural and quiet, but central for the East Neuk. It was very cosy and comfortable. Would recommend.
We as a family have been going the last five years for a week stay to the Barricks with our two miniature schnauzers. Great for visiting all the local villages etc with excellent restaurants and great beaches and costal walks. We would not return each year if the house was not brilliant.
