A lovely, relaxed stay in a comfortable, well equipped location. Excellent all round. Just bliss from start to finish. Very cosy indeed. Great attention to detail on the part of the owners. The Doocot has everything needed for a fabulous break. Planning my next visit already.
East Neuk Lodge is a wonderful place to stay whilst exploring the quaint villages along the Fife coastline. Each one has its own character. So close to St Andrews too which is well worth a visit with some lovely shops, restaurants and beautiful historical buildings. The Lodge is so well equipped with high quality cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery - everything you could ever need. The bedrooms are warm and bright with lovely comfortable beds and bedding. All fixtures and fittings are modern and up to date which, together with the cosy log burner, makes for an extremely enjoyable holida...more
The Barracks was a lovely property with plenty of character, and nice views, but due to its layout it wasn't ideal for our dogs or a member of the family with reduced mobility having to use wooden stairs to access the living areas. Lisa was very lovely and resolved any of our issues during the holiday. It would be a good idea to add more stones around the steps and driveway, as it was extremely muddy and this was then making a mess inside without any mats to stop it especially when you have dogs.
