Very well equipped and clean although not particularly comfortable seats. Lovely beds and delightful bathrooms. Nice location and very quiet. Found the area generally like Cornwall without the crowds.
This was our second visit to East Neuk Orchards,and again we thoroughly enjoyed it Lisa and Duncan are excellent hosts very approachable, and nothing is too much trouble The locality is ideal for exploring this beautiful area,and visiting the fabulous restaurants and coffee shops. The Orchard is just down the road from ,the wonderful Bow House with butchers, bakery and independent shops,and the renowned East Neuk Smokehouse is opposite with a wonderful collection of smoked fish to purchase The Doocot is definitely not for anyone with mobility issues,as the upside down split level properly...more
Our first visit to East Neuk of Fife. What a wonderful part of the world. The comfortable house was surrounded by peaceful countryside but only a short drive to the Fife coastal path and many good restaurants, pubs and farm shops. The kitchen was very well found, with quality china and cookware. It was a joy to cook light meals in the sunlit kitchen at the end of the day. All round we found the accommodation comfortable and spacious although we were only a party of two! Only slight criticism was that the tv in the large sitting room is on the small side, we are all accustomed to bigge...more
