We've been a few times previously, and this visit was no different -- so quiet, relaxing, and comfortable ... we shall return next year!
Interesting property and we enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the stars on the ceiling. We did, however, find the bedroom and bathroom a little lacking in storage and space to put things, eg the bedside table was very minimal. Upstairs, the kitchen area was well equipped but the sofa in the lounge area needed all the cushions we could find to make it comfortable for aging backs. We are very pleased to have stayed at the Doocot but overall think it is probably a property better suited to a lightly younger couple - we are in our high 70s.
Located in a quiet area of countryside within the East Neuk of Fife, the property is perfectly placed for discovering the wider area. Communication with the owners was faultless and their own local apple juice is amazing. Plenty to see and do in the area no matter the weather. Recommended.
