We spent the most wonderful time at the Victorian Wing at Weston Park. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left, everything was perfect. The accommodation is huge! Bedrooms were all big with large windows letting in lots of daylight. The communal spaces were fabulous, and we particularly loved the tent room. The accommodation was spotlessly clean throughout, and lovingly cared for, we couldn't have asked for anywhere better. The food in the Granary Restaurant was amazing, and the arrival hamper in the accommodation made sure we were well catered for at breakfast time. No stay...more
Usually when we have a few days away we do look around the area. This time we relaxed on the estate . The comfort of the garden bothay allowed us to do this. Feeling very safe within the gates of the estates we had access to walks and grounds which we enjoyed. We felt recharged and didn’t want to leave which is always a good sign of a stay
A few days away together was what we needed after a tough few weeks. This provided exactly that. The welcome pack was a wonderful surprise
The Pink Cottage lived up to it's promise of a beautiful little cottage set within ancient woods and large landscaped grounds. I booked a December stay, so enjoyed cosy log fires, winter birdsong, the smell of wet woods on walks - absolutely gorgeous.
The Temple is an excellent place to stay, its break takingly beautiful. The rooms are just amazing. There are plenty of walks and the location is spot on! There were 2 small issues (1) All radiators were on as it was cold, but it didn't really warm up until Sunday afternoon, the heating needs to go on a few days before anyone stays (2) No key to the door in the kitchen, if there were a fire, you wouldn't be able to get out.
The Knoll Tower is a breathtakingly beautiful place, character inside and out and stunning views. We were visited by the Deer on Christmas Day which was a beautiful bonus. Great walks and stunning scenery, really needs to be experienced to be appreciated. This was our 2nd stay at Knoll Tower and we will be back. Thank you to all the staff who make everything so perfect.
