Been going away annually in the U.K. as a group of 10 older adults for about 15 years now.
Taking into account everything High Meadows is right up there with the best large cottages we have stayed in.
St Mawes is a lovely place, and is an easy walk slightly downhill.

The layout of the bedrooms was ideal for three generations. The kitchen was well equipped and the spacious dining room was perfect for a large group of people.

High Meadows was exactly as described on website. There was 10 family members on this holiday with plenty of space for everyone. Very well equipped house and comfortable. Garden was lovely with plenty of seating. Great location not too far to walk to the harbour, walking time depends on your age. Owners very helpful if needed. We had a great family holiday, despite mixed weather.

High Meadows is bright and spacious, clean and well equipped and has a lovely enclosed garden. It was perfect for our party of 4 generations providing enough break out space for everyone. It is a short walk to the beach and amenities of St Mawes.

We had a fantastic stay at High Meadows as a group of 9 including adults, young adults and teens. We had plenty of room to all have our own space and good communal areas to eat and spend time together. The house was so well equipped, it had everything we needed, as well as beautiful views! St Mawes is only a short walk down the road with a beautiful sea view along with the way, meaning going out to eat in the local restaurants or popping out for a Cornish pastie was a genuine pleasure. Questions in advance of our stay were answered quickly either by the owners or the housekeeper.

Second time staying here in three years. Really well run house. A few minor repairs needed to be done while we were there but Sally tried to ensure that they were affected while we were out….the point being it’s unlikely you’ll be turning up and finding certain things aren’t working properly. The place is looked after and well equipped.
We shall return!

We went down for my 30th birthday as a group of friends and had the most amazing time. The house is stunning and so well equipped and the village itself is beautiful. We also hired a private chef for an evening who was equally impressed with the kitchen! 10/10 will stay again
