The self-catering holiday cottages at Benar sit quietly on a beautiful hillside, a short walk from the village of Penmachno and just three miles from Betws-y-Coed in Eryri National Park
We had a lovely time here enjoying the very quiet and peaceful surroundings and beautiful walking straight from the cottage. The bed was particularly comfortable and a highlight was having a bath with a view! Thank you for Daniel and Paul for putting so much thought into this accommodation.
Cottage very well fitted out and in a beautiful and quiet location. WE did not use all the cooking equipment but everything available if you want a self-catering holiday. Heating very good wit central heating and a lovely gas fire in the lounge section of the cottage. Internet and Satellite TV available but no mobile service, which for a week I consdier a blessing. You can always pick up your mobile signal in Betws-y-Coed or Penmachno. Hosts Daniel and Paul very friendly and made us very welcome on arrival with fresh flowers and fresh shortbread courtesy of Paul. A lovely, quiet place to stay.
I can only repeat what we added to the guest book at Y Llaethdy - we had a fantastic break and and it was a perfect location for exploring the area. The cottage was an absolute joy in which to base ourselves and we can't fault any aspect of Y Llaethdy. We appreciate the attention to detail given by Daniel & Paul which helped to make our stay a truly memorable one.
