Benar cottages are located in a beautiful peaceful location and also very convenient to accessing snowdonia national park. Penmachno village and area is a lovely area to be based. We loved the calmness and quiet after returning from hiking and sightseeing. The hosts Daniel and Paul are available if you need them for any queries, they provide excellent welcome folders for the cottage and local activities. The cottage was spotlessly clean and has everything you need for self catering and more. Highly recommend.

This cottage complex consists of three semi detached 2 bedroom cottages each sleeps 4 (double and twin room). And an extra detached 1 bedroom cottage that sleeps 2.. the main farm house is the home of Daniel and Paul who I believe have owned and run the complex for ten years. It's set on the side of a valley at the food of the woods looking out across sheep pasture. The cottages have been designed and renovated perfectly in my opinion.. clean practical simple with some homely touches. With ample parking for two cars per cottage including EV charging ,- you're covered. Location wise you ar...more

Excellent stay topped off with some decent weather. Property ideal location for day trips round north Wales. Property very comfortable and ideal with walk in shower for those who can't step into a bath.

Y Llaethdy cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything we could wish for (including a well equipped kitchen which you don’t always get in holiday accommodation) with lovely extra touches like homemade shortbread biscuits baked by Daniel and freshly picked flowers from Paul. The panoramic view from our cottage was beautiful and it was lovely to sit out on the terrace watching the sheep and lambs in the fields. There was a cheeky Robin (often mentioned in the guests comments book) who comes down for breakfast as soon as you open the door and there are many other birds like Finches, Jays an...more
