Wonderful 5 days spent in stable cottage. We had our two horses with us and had travelled from the Channel Islands.
The riding out from the farm was first class, as were the riding facilities at the farm. The horses had a lovely, relaxed stay and we couldn’t have asked for a better quality of accommodation. I would very much like to return.
We drove straight here after flying directly from Australia, so it was nice to have David meet us when we arrived and show us around. They'd thoughtfully provided breakfast things for us (eggs, sourdough, butter, local honey, tea/coffee, milk, cereal, etc). Storm Bert hit when we were there, and briefly knocked out power and internet to the village - but we were kept up to date with events by the owners throughout. We used the place to recover from jetlag, and as a jumping off point to the Tank Museum (Bovington), Salisbury, and Stonehenge. Owners were fonts of local knowledge, and happy to of...more
