As I said above the accommodation was lovely, very clean. Fans were also provided in each bedroom. Our only observation was that there was no waste paper bins in the bedrooms. The shower in the main bathroom was lovely but the shower in the smaller bathroom had poor water pressure.
We have stayed here several times, because everything on offer is spot on. Ty Newydd epitomises everything a B&B should be, not over fancy , not economising , everything just right , no pretentiousness . The whole stay is exemplified by the people , S&R are fantastic hosts, and inspire you to return along with enjoying the building, location and nearby spots. Friendly, homely, welcoming ,comfortable , what more can we say, oh fab breakfast every time !!
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ty Newydd, the whole place is delightful inside and out. Great choice of breakfast really well cooked. Lovely and well maintained room, good shower. Grounds are well maintained and very relaxing, even if it did rain a lot! If you're looking for a place to stay in this area Ty Newydd is highly recommended.
A quaint farmhouse with gorgeous views, loved the beams in the attic room. Friendly host, and beautiful breakfast, my coffee stayed hot till the end in the cafetiere. Will definitely return
Our multi-generation family of 5 loved our stay at Bullrush Barn. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and having meals outside in the back garden. It was easy to access the tow path along the canal for walks, and we were a short drive away from hiking, horseback riding, and lots of other activities. I would highly recommend Bullrush Barn for anyone looking to stay in the area!

We stayed at Dragonfly Cottage for the first time last year and enjoyed it so much we returned there recently for another relaxing stay. The location which is alongside the Brecon canal is so peaceful. We love nature and we were thrilled this year to see a family of swans comprising of Mum, Dad and eight cygnets who are growing fast. The best things in life are free… The ducks on the canal are also a joy to observe. Dragonfly Cottage is home from home, so well kitted out with everything one needs.
