I stayed in a 2 bed Pietrain pet lodge which was spacious, well equipped, clean and cosy. Really nice hand-wash, shampoo and body wash provided in bathroom. Take an adapter plug if you use an electric shaver or toothbrush.
We were grateful for the welcome pack which included a starter pack of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, cloth, sponge and tea towel. Plus a pint of milk, samples of tea, coffee, hot choc, biscuits, nutella and marmite spread.
The staff on site were friendly and helpful. The hot tub was perfectly clean and warm. I like the fact that no stag or hen parties are welcome and the site was quiet. It's well placed for country or beach walks with the lovely village of Patrington nearby. We recommend trying cakey bakey in the village, also The golden haddock in Withernsea for excellent fish and chips. Plenty of free parking in Withernsea too. We had a lovely few days at Fairview.

Enjoyed our stay in lodge number 9. One of the better lodges we've stayed in with a huge roof, plenty of space, lots of windows allowing lots of light in and 2 ensuite bathrooms (a first!), but still very private. Very impressive deck area and a huge hot tub.
Good sized TV with free channels.
A small private site which is great. A play area and a small footy pitch for the kids.
Dog walking area consists of a straight line run of grassed area alongside a field. Bit dissappointing not to find a babbling brook or stream at the end of it as a reward for reaching the end though!
Can't fault the lodge, Alex or area it's in - it's all good.
Only downsides were chasing flys and black clock beetles (they are attracted to the light I read) out of the lodge. I'd recommend taking a sticky fly trap or a zapper as flys were a pain. A citronella candle for sitting on the decking for the midgies (preferably in a tall glass as the wind blows it out). The decking only got the sun in the morning and to sit at the front of the lodge meant moving a chair there. Would have been nice to have a picnic table at the front to catch the sun in the afternoon.
The hot tub was huge, but didn't have any temperature settings or guage so wasn't always the hottest. Just the one setting for jets and not the most powerful.
We were near the main road and apart from the odd person trying to break the land speed record the road noise wasn't noticed as it got later.
Withernsea was the nearest port of call for shops and only a 10 minute drive away for any shopping. it's run down and in need of investment and not a particularly great day out. Nice family/dog friendly sports bar in the Aldi car park though with a pool table for the kids. Loads of TV's showing sport. They served food too. This was the highlight there. 2 hour free stay in the car park.
Hornsea was a bit limited and a little bit of a hike for not much there other than food outlets and a poor arcade with many machines out of order. Passed a busy high street on the way back which might be worth investigating. I suppose we're spoilt living in the North East and our fabulous coastline. Paid for an hour's parking but since we didn't want food or to go on the arcades left after 30 mins as there was nothing to do unless you like walking. Couldn't take the dog to any of the beaches either.
All in all a great lodge and break. Not much for the adventurer in the area though.
Top tips - insect repellent (see above). Make a note of when the sun is on your decking and plan your day around that. Perhaps take a pack of cards / dominoes as i didn't see any there (DVD's, games, toys and books are free to borrow and available in the sunroom near reception - never saw anyone use it during our stay)
Thanks for having us Alex!

The lodge was lovely the owners very accommodating . It is set within an arable farm so very peaceful with lots of birds to see. A little way out but just a 10 minute drive to Withernsea and the beach.
The hot tub is lovely although a little difficult to uncover and a little difficult to get in if you have mobility problem .
The lodge is very spacious with lots provided . All in all a very lovely stay
