We loved Wills Barn from the moment we saw it as we turned into the final approach. The key retrieval was easy, the Barn was warm and cosy as we went in. The views from inside and outside are amazing. It’s incredibly peaceful and just invites you to relax on the huge sofas or the indoor egg chair. We listened to the birds in the early morning as the sun rose, and spotted a hare in the field. Dinner options were a short drive, as are Cheddar, Wells and fantastic walks. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to stay in. Don’t hesitate to book your perfect peaceful getaway.
We came over from Ireland for a family wedding, the Barn was exactly what we were looking for, a perfect location to base ourselves. We particularly enjoyed the social space the kitchen provided.we even managed a table tennis tournament!! We would most certainly book again if we are back in the area. Many thanks
Heronmere is an amazing property, the grandkids voted it the top place we’ve stayed. Huge picture windows, patio doors & terraces all make the most of this fantastic & beautiful location. Our family group of 10 had the best time, from eating meals together in the huge & well-equipped kitchen, to relaxing on the massive comfy sofa, always enjoying the views over the lake. The kids also enjoyed playing outside & table tennis in the former garage. You can’t put a price on listening to the birds & watching the sunrise over the hills across the lake.
