The cottage was so so clean and tidy. The bedrooms and bathroom were especially lovely with wonderful views of the hills from both bedroom windows. Everything was immaculate and it was good to know the owners were next door just incase anything else was needed. A wonderful place.to stay.

Jeff and Pauline were very welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very peaceful location with little traffic. Great to be able to sit outside, enjoy the view, with a cup of tea in hand and not be subjected to 30 degree plus heat!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The property was nice and clean throughout, including the bathrooms, toilets, and bedrooms, which were all very well maintained. The surrounding Pennine landscape is beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. We especially enjoyed the great view from the window overlooking the countryside.

The location is also ideal, with good connections to the Lake District, making it easy to explore further afield. The hosts were very thoughtful and kind, stocking the fridge with essentials like butter, milk, bread, and eggs, which was a lovely touch on arrival.

Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay that we would happily recommend.

The cottage was immaculately presented with everything you would need for staying there. Wonderful views from the front windows or from the seats and bench outside. Very clean kitchen, sitting room, dining room, bath room and bedrooms. The rain shower in the bath was particularly good with very good water power. The location was excellent for any areas of Weardale with good road links and local buses to Stamhope and Alston.
