A secluded lochside cottage with no immediate neighbours, set right on the shores of Loch Fyne. Dunmore Cottage is the perfect escape for couples or families looking to switch off, slow down and enjoy the peace and beauty of Argyll.

Dunmore Cottage is a charming traditional Scottish cottage set right on the shores of Loch Fyne, in a wonderfully secluded location with no immediate neighbours. Peaceful and full of character, it’s the perfect escape for couples or small families looking to unwind and enjoy the quiet beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The cottage sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and has been tastefully refurbished in recent years to provide comfortable, cosy accommodation while retaining its traditional charm.

Beautiful, quiet location

We were looking for somewhere quiet but also centrally located for various ferry ports so we could visit some of he islands. The cottage was perfect, beautifully decorated, warm, comfortable and very quiet. Loved watching the Calmac ferry glide by.

Would highly recommend fir anyone wanting to get away from it all!

Great cottage in a fantastic location. Owners have made much effort to making it homely.
Cleanliness could’ve been better and the numerous messages to do / don’t made my feel apprehensive about switching stuff on / off.
There should’ve been something confirming the water source coming from a private supply so that guests can make an informed choice about drinking from the tap or buying bottled.
9 o’clock checkout suited us but seems a bit early compared to other rental places.

Lovely cottage with home comforts. Disappointed that it wasn’t possible to walk our dog around the loch opposite the cottage and that ‘safe’ dog walks had to be travelled to by car. Well equipped cottage with comfy beds, had a great stay.

This is a very peaceful place in a lovely location. It is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into Dunmore Cottage, it’s great if you’re looking to get away from it all for a few days.
