Well appointed lodge in beautiful, quiet location just outside Pitlochry. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful with local information. Great for dogs.

Great location and well designed holiday lodge. Traditional feel with a modern touch. Hot tub was extremely welcome after a long days hiking.

Private note…

Appreciate most Hotels and private rentals fluctuate between 10am and 11am for checkout - I’ve always felt that the ask to leave the place as you found it and check out at 10am as ill considered when balanced against equally priced hotels with similar facilities.

We paid for the late checkout - but spent most of that time cleaning and tidying. I would suggest ‘11:00’ as a considerate checkout time - with a charge for not cleaning/tidying to the ‘as found’ standard.

Either way I would stay again. Well done, the lodges are very well done.
