Welcome to our seven beautifully restored 5 star self catering cottages in Cornwall, situated a short walk to the village of Chapel Amble near Polzeath and the magnificent North Cornwall coast, surrounded by peaceful Duchy farmland.
We last rented from Rob and Gill in 2003! Again, we felt very welcome, as Rob had just lit the open fire just before we arrived. Such a welcome sight, as was the lovely dressed Christmas tree. A wonderful surprise was the luxury hamper that was also waiting for us. A very well stocked kitchen and comfort throughout. Thank you, Rob and Gill. We will be recommending your properties and thank you for yet another wonderful stay. K&J
The most amazing place for indulgent rest and relaxation. The comfiest beds with luxury touches in all the rooms.
The perfect location with beautiful walks on your doorstep and run by the loveliest people!
This was our third stay in Jasmine cottage at Rooke Farm. Much anticipation on the drive down, a warm, cosy and very well equipped cottage to greet us and a whole week of comfort, walks in the fresh air and good Cornish fare ahead. While Rock, Daymer Bay and the North coast are close by, Rooke is also convenient for adventures further afield, Lanhydrock at Bodmin, Readymoney Cove at Fowey and Trelissick at Truro being favourites (for Ted the dog especially). Rob and Gill are excellent hosts and St Kew farm shop and café and St Kew Inn are close by and welcoming. At the end of the day though, i...more
This was our 2nd visit to Honeysuckle cottage and as previously, we were delighted. The cottage itself is well presented and equipped and very comfortable. Having dogs, we are always looking for a comfortable property in the country with a good enclosed garden. Honeysuckle meets these requirements perfectly. Apart from the dogs, it is also a lovely garden to sit and relax in utilising the provided outside furniture.
Another bonus is having the owners on site who are pleasant and welcoming and on hand to deal with any issues.
Meadow is one of our favourite cottages and we keep returning whenever possible. We particularly like the long enclosed garden which is perfect if you have a dog. Inside it is nicely furnished in a comfortable uncluttered way. The location is quiet and peaceful, but does not feel remote, and has good access to places like Rock and Polzeath. It’s lovely to hear the owls in the evening and even to watch the barn owls on the Owlcam.
