I stayed here for 4 nights with my 2 kids age 8 and 12, any staff I met were lovely, so so friendly and helpful, location is definitely secluded and I wish I’d done more research, the forge it’s self personally wasn’t up to my standard cleanliness wish, lots and lots of cobwebs, spiders attached to them on the skirtings and door frames and even in the shower and down the sides of the toilets, pots and pans on the shelf’s in the kitchen with lots of dust on and finger marks where people had drawn through the dust, I had to clean the kettle myself as the filter was so full of limescale it was co...more
Was a lovely and relaxing break and a perfect location. Hot tub was a great addition too The hamper on arrival was a lovely touch too Thank you very much
We booked the entire venue for a long weekend reunion for family friends and kids totalling over 50. It was an amazing weekend which couldn’t have been any better. The facilities are great with beautiful grounds and properties full of history and character! Huge thanks to Mel and the team. We are booking again next year!
This is a good house for multiple generations. Lots of room to spread out. Great location with a great garden for team games.
