Dairy Cottage was new for 2012 and is a very spacious three bedroomed Cottage. Set slightly apart from the courtyard formation of the other four. Upstairs it has views towards the water’s edge at Dell Quay. On the ground floor is one large twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and located on the first floor are 2 spacious bedrooms one double (with en-suite shower room) and another twin room with it’s own bathroom, although all beds can be either twins or doubles (at a small additional cost). Dairy Cottage also has an entrance hall with cloakroom, large sitting room, kitchen with breakfast bar and separate utility room.

A comfortable, well equipped property. Dairy cottage is spacious for six people. Communication by the owners is good. Local walks and pub make the stay enjoyable and relaxing. A great area with lots to do without too much travelling. A property we would return to.

Have stayed at property a few times. Always enjoyable, perfectly placed to visit surrounding area. Very clean. Love the kitchen. The only irk would be that the downstairs shower room is really awkward to negotiate. It would be better if the door opened outwards. Other than that, very happy to stay many times in the future.

Perfect for 3 couples who are racing at the Goodwood Festival at the end of July. We ate our breakfasts and lunches on the patio and went to local restaurants in the evenings which, as usual, were excellent. Staying at Dairy Cottage is quiet and simple and we have rented it for 10 years.

A beautiful location for family to stay while attending our son’s wedding locally.
We booked Rose, Dairy & Stable Cottages & all were beautifully presented and in character with their surroundings.
Each was spacious and had outside seating. Especially the Rose garden off Rose Cottage. We were all able to sit outside in the garden on the eve of the wedding and celebrate together. So much space and plenty of tables. Will certainly come back again.

I couldn’t think of anywhere better to spend my birthday x We have been coming to Quay Quarters for many many years and this is where I wanted to share it with friends x It’s home from home cosy and warm and we are always made to feel so welcome by Jack and his family plus dogs ! Inside Dairy it has everything you might need and more x The rooms are all so spacious and the bedrooms enormous ! Enjoy the views from the windows too ! A bonus ! It’s walking distance to a great pub again with views to die for and a place to catch the most amazing sunsets x Round and about locally so much to do and visit x amazing beach walks x Chichester x a great local Lifeboat Museum and for fun a great Crazy Golf Centre to name but a few of our favourites x Can’t wait to return soon x if you book up you won’t be disappointed!

We had a family gathering booking a few of the cottages. Staff were friendly and helpful and the grounds are beautiful and it was very relaxing place to be. Weather was great and easy access to The Wittering beaches added to our enjoyment.

Lovely spot on the farm, so good to watch the sun go down from the kitchen window while the horses are grazing in the field. Very peaceful and perfectly placed to visit the surrounding attractions. The beaches at Wittering and Hayling Island, plus Chichester and Portmouth’s historic dockyard are all within easy reach.

Quay Quarters is in a lovely location and Dairy Cottage is a comfortable, well-furnished and equipped place to stay. There were a few very minor maintenance issues (light bulbs and basin waste) but they did not impact on our stay and can be forgiven as it is near the end of the season. The owners are very helpful and friendly. I have previously booked at Quay Quarters and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a quiet stay in the country in an area of outstanding natural beauty

Only suggestion is to provide mop & bucket to clean the floors when necessary. It is a working farm after all, so bound to need extra floor cleaning during stay. Otherwise, perfect.

A stunning cottage with everything you could possibly ask for in a fabulous location. The tastefully renovated accommodation is large with plenty of room for 6 adults. Well equipped kitchen enabling you to eat in or a 5 minute walk to the beautiful estuary with places to eat.

My husband and I stayed in Dairy Cottage for three nights along with our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren. Dairy Cottage was perfect for us in terms of the overall space on offer, particularly the bedrooms and having 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds clean and very comfortable. The grandchildren appreciated Netflix on the TV and loved looking out of the windows to see the horses. We were all attending a wedding at Farbridge which wasn't far away at all and in fact I can thoroughly recommend Central Cars in Chichester if you need a taxi. The accommodation was clean although starting to look a little tired in places but this didn't detract from our stay. I can't comment on the customer service as we had no contact, however, this didn't matter as there were no issues. It would have been good to stay longer to explore the local area. All in all a fabulous pretty location with good facilities, thank you.

Dairy cottage is modern, light and incredibly spacious. All the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. I think the layout works really well and the three bedrooms are huge and well appointed.

I know the area well and the location, with its close proximity to the harbour and quay as well as the countryside and beach, make it perfect for walking.

We were lucky with the weather and requested a bbq which we got when we asked for it again on arrival. I think there is a fine line between crowding your guests and welcoming them, but it felt a little strange arriving on the farm and not being greeted. However, the bbq was resolved and the cottage and surrounding area is really lovely. I would certainly consider staying there again.

Dairy cottage faces away from the quadrant and has a small terrace for eating and a lovely plot of grass facing the fields. If I was staying there in the summer, i think it would benefit from some all weather sun loungers to watch the sunset.

Priced at the higher end of the market but definitely worth it.

The cottage worked well for our group of 3 couples with three large bedrooms and three bathrooms. It felt really spacious and there was everything we needed in the kitchen for food prep. Plenty of glasses/crockery/cutlery. We were able to use the outside table due to the gorgeous weather we experienced.
Jack made us very welcome and the cottage is is a good location to visit West Wittering, walk to Chichester Marina and the local pub in Dell Quay - The Crown and Anchor (you will need to book in advance)

The cottage was lovely jack the host was really helpful and available. The location was gorgeous with horses a rose garden and some walking trails. We walked to Chichester marina along salters way. We would go again.Delightful.

We had an excellent weekend away at Dairy Cottage. Very clean on arrival, comfortable beds and very well stocked kitchen.
My only piece of feedback would be the lack of communication before arrival. I didn’t receive any information regarding arrival time, where the cottage was located. So on my arrival I just wondered around the farm and stumbled on Dairy Cottage which happened to be open! Might have been more tricky in the dark! So perhaps some information pre arrival would have been useful.
Despite this minor point we had a wonderful stay, very peaceful and will definitely return. Many thanks

This is the second time I've booked all the cottages at Quay Quarters and we weren't disappointed, the space works really well for a large group of people and the owners are very relaxed. Service is excellent and the Cottages are in a great spot, short walk to a fabulous pub on the river. Chichester and Arundel are both very close.

Great place to stay and unwind and plenty to do and see out and about. Lovely walks.
Only slight problems no hanging rail in 2nd bedroom upstairs. Also bathroom would benefit from a shower curtain.
And take plenty of hangers with you.
Above not problems or had any detriment on our stay just suggestions.

Just returned from a very enjoyable week at Dairy Cottage. All the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was one of the best equipped that we have had with plenty of room to cook and eat. The location is very good for visiting the area and is very peaceful with lots of footpaths for walks. Plenty of pubs very close providing excellent meals. Would definitely recommend a stay here for a relaxing holiday.

We have stayed at appledrams three times, first in the Manor House and our next two visits have been to Dairy cottage with the family. What we love is the peace and quiet you get here surrounded by gorgeous countryside and beautiful horses.
It’s the perfect venue being close to the sea and Chichester.
Mat, Hayley and especially Jack have always looked after us so well so this is our favourite bolthole and we can’t wait to return.

Can’t wait to come back! Due to lockdown we could only stay a few days but it was the best pre lockdown you could wish for! Everything for your comfort is thought of and we were surprised at how spacious the cottage was whilst still feeling cosy. Easy to find and easy to get to the main town of Chichester. The house could do with a proper dining table rather that the breakfast bar in the kitchen. The table on the terrace is a good substitute if the weather is OK.

Had a wonderful 2 nights here - stayed in Diary Cottage - very well equipped and comfortable. Lovely terrace looking onto the paddocks and also another seating area with views over paddocks to Dell Quay. Short walk to the local pub makes it the perfect location. Owners very helpful and friendly and we will definitely return!

We been on the dairy Cottege twice, we love this place. The contact with the nature is amazing. Near of city and lovely west wittering beach.

We loved the cottage and it’s situation. Extremely well equipped and comfortable. Unfortunately, due to the corona virus problem, we had to cancel our arrangements to meet family and friends and go home after only 3 days! Very disappointing but we hope to return when life is back to normal.

Dairy Cottage is an excellent location for exploring the Chichester Estuary. The kitchen is well equipped with a good size fridge/freezer. The beds are very comfortable. The owners were very kind and helpful. This was our second visit and I look forward to the next time!!

So happy to have found this lovely accommodation. Exceptionally well equipped. Great hosts. We dealt with Anna and Jack who could not have been more pleasant or helpful! Totally peaceful setting on a working farm. Short walk to Dell Quay overlooking picturesque Chichester Harbour. Good pub with lovely views. Highly recommended! Hope to return!

Our family of 5 comfortably made the dairy cottage our home for a week. We were able to easily host dinners for extended local family and enjoy the use of bikes, strolls to Dell quay and local shopping in Chichester & Portsmouth. Nice being surrounded by countryside and often being challenged at tennis on the grass court. Hosts were pleasant along with the dogs and horses. Great location to draw, paint, train or simply chill with a NZ Sav. Thanks for the great week, we'll be back. Cheers "The Ramsay's"

We have been staying at Quay Quarters for many years x We love everything about it x The wonderful relaxing feel about the place x The homely spacious accommodation x the amazing location and of course Anna your wonderful
Host who will look after you during your stay x

We have stayed in all the cottages and each one is very special in its own way so it’s hard to single out which one is our favourite x Such a great place also for family get-togethers and we have had many x in the Dairy and Apuldram Cottage both perfect and both hold treasured memories x Should you need any extras nothing is too much trouble so if you were needing a highchair or camping cot that can easily be arranged x

I highly recommend a stay at Quay Quarters and can guarantee you will make a return visit x So much to see and do with the Chichester harbour right on your doorstep x great walks x great pubs x West Whittering’s beautiful beach and Chichester Marina within walking distance x

Never want to leave ! X

I booked all 5 Cottages at Quay Quarters on behalf of 17 friends. The accommodation exceeded my expectations in terms of location and comfort. We all had an amazing time and the cottages are on the door step of riverside walks, Dell Quay, The Marina and the Crown and Anchour Pub. Anna was very accommodating and we enjoyed a relaxed stay.
