Because every time we did it stopped us in our tracks! We had a truly amazing time at Saorsa lodge this autumn as the midges faded away and we got to admire the truly breathtaking view with the first snows of the winter, storms, shooting stars, serene sunrises and golden sunshine. The setting is perfect. Close enough to walk into Lochinver every day but far enough away that you feel like you have the place to yourself. This was our second stay at Muir Lan and it was every bit as good as we remembered. The view over the loch towards Suilven and Canisp is spectacular and the cabin itself extremely comfortable. We certainly hope to return one day.
