Nestling within a beautiful valley, just 500 yds from Cwmtydu beach, the splendid, former gentleman’s country residence stands in 2.5 acres of lovely, lawned gardens. Enjoying outstanding views of the sea, it is spacious and comfortable and is perfect as an unforgettable venue for family holidays. eaturing two lounges, one complete with a piano, a large, sunny conservatory and a games room with pool table. With wonderful walking from the door along the Ceredigion Heritage Coast is only 1.5 miles from a shop and pub. Locally there is a wealth of activities for all ages to enjoy, with horse riding, sea and fresh water fishing, canoeing, golf, bowls, tennis, quad biking and a dry ski slope, all within easy reach. Snowdon, Tenby and the Gower Peninsula are all within driving distance. Ideal for large family groups or reunions, Park Hal is a perfectly placed base.

Large family gathering with young children and three family dogs.

I stayed with my 3 children, their partners and 8 grandchildren aged from 1 to 10. Everyone really enjoyed their stay. The garden was fantastic for games with the children, and the house was spacious (ideal for hide and seek). Most of the bedrooms were large, but the mid room in the attic with bunk beds and no en-suite had a different feel, and some people might feel hard done by if that was the room they were allocated compared to the others. It was lovely sitting in the sunroom for meals with the massive table, and the rest of the house was equally pleasant. All the rooms, especially the kitchen, were well-equipped. Personally I would have preferred a second tv. The location of the house was amazing, with a lovely view of the sea from the house, and the local beach is easy to walk to and great for a short visit. It was very seaweedy so not great for swimming, but there were rockpools and caves to explore and sand depending on the tide. New Quay is the nearest beach which is great for swimming, shallow and sandy, plus the usual beach shops and cafes, but no amusements. We never had a problem with parking and we used a car park which cost £3 a day, beware it only takes coins! There is a steep hill down to the beach, which some people might find difficult. Everything is a long drive away from the house. There were no local shops that we could see and although supermarkets were not that far in distance, the nature of the roads in the area meant going anywhere took longer than you would think. All in all we had a wonderful time and felt like we were at a retreat, with the views, trees and silence doing wonders for our mental health.

A wonderful family holiday week in an excellent house and setting.

We had an outstanding week in this excellent property. The view and closeness to the local beach, along with others nearby, and the coastal path provided a variety of opportunities for the whole of the family. The ten grandchildren loved the garden and the variety of places to play in the house, the comfortable beds and bathroom facilities were great and the kitchen facilities made feeding everyone easy. The good weather meant we had a wonderful week and we will certainly visit again.

Very nice stay loved every minute, only a few issues,
1 was only 1 microwave
2 no pizza cutter
The place was really nice and very adequate for our family. Very much in the countryside so roads weren't the best to get there but as the week went on it got better as we were use to it.

The house is brilliant, great facilities, a very good size and spacious to accommodate all the guests. Fantastic location, quiet with a small beach just a short walk down the road. Also Newquay is a short drive away. Great for large groups.

Booked for a 50th birthday celebration with close friends. Location was perfect, house was stunning and very well stocked. There isn’t anything you could possibly need to make your stay more welcoming, equipped or run smoothly. Sitting in the garden overlooking the views and the sea in the near distance it was truly a treasure and made the whole weekend just perfect.

We returned to Park Hall last week after a holiday there last year with our family of four generations and it did not disappoint.
The new kitchen is fantastic with everything you need at your fingertips.
Our whole family love this place and we hope to continue having our family breaks here for years to come.

We had a really lovely time at Park Hall. However, the proposed new, larger, kitchen had not been installed in time for our stay.
The owners were very apologetic and informed us the builders had let them down but work was imminently. (The room for the new kitchen was cleared and it will be brilliant I’m sure.)
The location is great and the huge dining area amazing, with its wonderful view of the grounds and sea beyond. We plan to return when the new kitchen is ‘up and ready’.

Superb location, only six minutes walk from the beach and children could go on their own. Wonderful coastal walks even closer. House was very well appointed - we had everything we needed - and more! Kitchen was small but adequate and it helped to use the barbecue which was just outside the kitchen door. The kitchen needs replacing although the cooker and fridges were both fine. We would like to return!

Our second stay with five families and dogs did not disappoint. The weather was iffy but we could walk down to Cwmtydu beach whenever we wanted and easily go out to other lovely beaches. When we stayed in we could use the spacious house facilities for family games. Ideal flexible sleeping accommodation for 19.

I cannot fault this property! We had the most wonderful stay, it is beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds and enough room for 20 people to stay. The dining room it fantastic and the property is literally a stones throw away from the most wonderful beach. We had the best weekend ever and our hosts were very kind and welcoming. We are already planning to return! Thank you Clare and Andreas ☺️

Claire & Andreas were extremely helpful & accommodating before & during our family stay to celebrate my moms 80th Birthday.
The House was wonderful and it was a lovely surprise to see that the house had recently been redecorated and upgraded slightly, since we booked from the pictures on the website. Everything needed was supplied - all we had to bring was food & drink.
The welcome pack of Welsh goodies was also a lovely touch and very much appreciated - Thank You!
The kitchen will definitely be the crowning glory to finish it all off and can't wait to see that once it's complete, as currently - although it's very well equipped - it is on the snug size for a house that will sleep so many people. And lets be honest - some people don't need much of an excuse to stay out of the kitchen!! :)
The Gas BBQ was a brilliant addition and as we were so lucky with the weather, we made full use of this and the garden & fantastic views every evening.
Would Highly recommend this property for future stays.

We all had a wonderful stay at Park Hall a family group of 16 aged 19yrs to 82yrs + 2 dogs
A great space to entertain in and the conservatory dining space with views to the sea the most used space.
Daily walk down to the sea for a swim albeit brief.
Well sized bedrooms with en suite facilities, beautiful bed linen throughout.
Kitchen too small to cater for large numbers - but I am aware there are plans afoot to improve this.

We had the whole family here for Christmas. We had a fantastic time. We loved the area and the house and grounds.
I struggled with the kitchen as there is a rather large step in the middle. We felt that the kitchen should have been bigger to cook for 20 people.
I was disappointed there was only a tree and no Xmas decorations. I would have brought some with me had I known. Otherwise a brilliant Christmas

Fantastic weekend away with extended family aged 3 months to 75 years! The house was perfect with a quiet lounge, busy games room and huge table in the conservatory for people to eat and chat. The garden is incredible, so much space to explore and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Thank you so much, we throughly enjoyed our stay

What a lovely house in such beautiful surroundings! Only a couple of minutes walk to Cwmtydu which is a beautiful, quiet cove where you can often spot a seal in the bay! The house itself was very comfortable with a super dining room overlooking the garden and a beautiful living room. We loved the outdoor space where you can see the sea from and the children had hours of fun in the garden. We will definitely return!

We had a great week at Park Hall, 7 adults and 5 children. The garden was a huge asset, the children loved rolling down the bank and playing hide and seek. The downstairs is very spacious, lots of places for folk to do there own thing.
The location is near sandy beaches and the local beach was a great hit for rock climbing and moonlight swimming (with seals!).
There is also easy access to Cardigan and New Quay.

Our stay was perfect and more than met the expectations of the three generations of our family aged from 3 to 76! The stately house itself is superbly located with a sweeping private drive and it overlooks a large two tier lawn providing fabulous views down to Cwmtydu beach. A great location for rounders with a bank for spectators! Nothing beats the possibility of a spontaneous “who’s coming to the beach?” And scope for walks and bike rides from the house. We got to know this gorgeous part of West Wales with its villages nestling in rocky coves and the variety of beaches.”Cornwall without the traffic and with genuine locals”. We found good excursions for active members of the group including an activity centre with muddy assault course. The kids loved crabbing from the piers at Aberaevon and we all enjoyed watching dolphins and seals from our hire boat at New Quay.
The 8 en suite bedrooms provided flexibility to accommodate our 5 family units in comfort. The gorgeous new conservatory accommodated all 20 of us at one table. The games room was a good bolt hole for the teenagers and there is plenty of space to get away to read in spacious bay windows and other quiet areas. Plenty of fridge and freezer space and the narrow kitchen had everything one needs for a holiday.
Claire and Andreas are genial but discrete hosts engaging with us in an open and friendly manner, tolerating the antics of young children and dogs alike. We loved the traditional feel of the place. They have embarked on a phased project of improvements and updating of this house with a new kitchen planned We will be back!

It's a lovely comfortable house in a great setting.
If you want to self cater the kitchen is a bit small and on two levels. But it was good enough for our party of 10.
A warning for users electric cars. Charging places are few and far apart in West Wales and you cannot charge at Park Hall.

I would highly recommend staying at Park Hall as it is in a fantastic location with lovely views from the house of the cove. The house is spacious and very comfortable and nicely decorated. The garden is ideal for families with children as our grandchildren spent so much time playing outside and having fun.
Anyone planning a family get together then this is the place to stay and enjoy your holiday. Absolutely 5 star recommendation for Park Hall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and the bonus of being dog friendly.
Booking Park Hall was very easy and had great communication from the owners and very quick response to any changes

After Covid delays of 2 years, we finally made a return visit to Park Hall. Now under different ownership from our previous holiday, we found the accommodation to be updated and understand there are ongoing plans for further improvements, the main one being moving the rather small kitchen into the larger reception room next door. This will give much needed space for catering for a large group. Claire and Andreas were great at communicating through the pandemic and responding to queries during our visit. They very kindly allowed us to bring extra dogs as our circumstances had changed in the 3 years since booking, which we really appreciated. The property itself is a fabulous base in a beautiful area for walking. We explored much of the coast path nearby and walked from the property on 3 days. The accommodation is very comfortable - our bed was the best I've slept on and all the mattresses are in the process of being replaced. It's wonderful accommodation for groups of friends due to the number of bathrooms and the large downstairs spaces for eating and relaxing. Our dogs enjoyed the space in the garden - being April it wasn't quite warm enough for us to eat outside but the views from here are wonderful. We also loved the fact that the little cove Cwmtydu is minutes walk away and the dogs loved to go down here first thing in the morning. You will have a fabulous holiday here. It almost feels like this is a secret we should keep to ourselves as I'm sure most guests will plan a return visit. We certainly hope to be back again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Three generations enjoyed a wonderful family holiday. The setting of the house is spectacular. Particularly since we spent so much time in the dining room/conservatory over looking the garden down to the sea. We had a brilliant Easter egg hunt for the children in the huge garden. They were outside for so much of our time there which made them all a very happy tired.
Just a short drive (or a precarious cliff top walk!) away from some beautiful beaches. We also enjoyed a dip in the fresh water pond at the bottom of the hill.
Although some of the decor is a little outdated it does not detract from having a comfortable stay with every thing you could need in the kitchen and the bedrooms.
The washing machine and dryer along with the clothes horses were extremely useful additions. There is ample space in the utility room for food storage.

We stayed here for a big family Christmas 2021. We had the best time and made precious memories. Great house, fantastic location and great communication with the owners.
Could find very little wrong with it. We did wish that the kitchen was bigger (it used to be in the pool room) and the water pressure in the top floor bedroom shower was stronger. Apart from that it was perfect.

There were 15 of us staying at Park Hall, all the same family. Everything suited us perfectly. Beautiful location, great for walks, swimming etc. House was very comfortable with everything provided. All bedrooms, bar one small bunk room, was ensuite which was perfect. One of the things we loved is the owners are very eco and all products were "green". Also recycling was set up for everything. It was a very warm house with heating and hot water always available so made it very comfortable. Games room was a hit with all. The welcome pack of welsh food was a nice touch and the conservatory is a great place for everyone to eat together.

The guide for everything was all on line, so organised. The 7 children loved it and it was so near and safe to run down to the sea. I imagine it would be a great place in the summer. Have already recommended this accommodation to quite a few friends who always ask us for recommendations. Thank you Claire and Andreas

I booked Park Hall for a group of 20 friends to celebrate my 60th Birthday in September. Park Hall was reasonably priced and looked ideal for the size of my group. We travelled from afar to get there but upon arrival we were met with a really imposing beautiful house, in a fantastic location so first impressions were good! The view from the house down to the beach at Cwmtydu was amazing.
The house had everything we needed for our celebration. 8 bedrooms, 7 en-suites, all spacious and nicely decorated too. Downstairs, the larger lounge and conservatory were ideal for our purposes. We set up a karaoke machine in the conservatory and decorated it with balloons and bunting. The space was amazing and was large enough to accommodate us all so we could take the mic and have a boogie too!! For breakfast, the kitchen was ideal with more than enough plates, cups, glasses, utensils etc and enough fridge space for the obligatory bacon and sausages! The range cooker was ideal for our party size for cooking purposes. There was an additional fridge and freezer in a seperate pantry type room where we stored our drinks and other foods. The games room was also used quite a lot with several games of pool and darts going on throughout the weekend. There was also a utility room with a washer and dryer that also was used by some of our party.
The location was excellent and we all set off on a nice, but challenging walk to New Quay on the Sunday afternoon. The views from the costal path were amazing.
The hosts, Claire and Andreas were on hand to help if required but were happy to let us get on with doing what we wanted. They are a really nice couple and should be proud of the way they have Park Hall decorated and laid out. Since we came back i know they have replaced all of the windows but the ones that were fitted seemed fine to us all!
Overall, the feedback from our group was only positive. Everybody loved the house and the location. It was a long drive for us all as the area is pretty remote but waking up to the wonderful views each morning more than made up for the distance we all travelled.
I would thoroughly recommend Park Hall for a long weekend/week for a family gathering or party with friends to celebrate a special occasion.
Thank you Claire and Andreas for letting us stay in your wonderful house. It was a memorable weekend.

Walter Taylor, Warrington.

Booked a weekend stay at Park Hall as the house was in my family approx 80 years ago. Claire and Andreas were very kind, and hospitable, and nothing was too much trouble.
The house and its surrounding area were fantastic, and the children enjoyed paddle boarding, flying kites, and walking to the beach etc.
The facilities were brilliant, and i was please to see everything you may need, was there for us as well. Every room had an en-suite and fully made beds with plenty of pillows.
We have already agreed we will be booking another family holiday at Park Hall.

Clare kindly took delivery of our online food and drink orders from Aldis and Tesco and they were in the house for our arrival
The house is comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate our group of 20 (age range from 2 to 64 from all 4 corners of the UK and overseas.)
Prior to our arrival the house had been beautifully decorated for Xmas and it felt so festive and welcoming .
The kitchen was on the small size but very well equipped. However, there is plenty of additional food storage space, with a large pantry which has a freezer and fridge. Once orientated to where everything was we cooked Xmas meal and dinners with comparative ease.
Everybody loved the games room. I discovered l do not have any innate pool or darts skills but it was fun learning.
The house is big enough to find space if you need quiet time.
The grounds are secluded and beautifully maintained . Location close to the sea and lovely coastal walks.
All in all would highly recommend to others.

A beautiful area, great coastal walks. It was a lovely short walk to the beach and small cafe. It was so nice to have taken two dogs, who had a wonderful time and behaved themselves the whole time.

My only downside was the kitchen was too small for preparing and cooking food for 10 people.

Lovely house and Garden. Wonderful view and just a short walk to the bay. Car needed to get elsewhere.
Our group of 20 aged from 4 to 70, plus 2 dogs, all enjoyed their stay. The owner Claire was always approachable and helpful including taking the obligatory family photos. We adults loving relaxing in the conservatory and the garden, while the children (young and not so young ) loved playing football etc on the large lawn. The dogs loved the freedom and safety to run riot!
Very enjoyable week. WiFi connection intermittent which was annoying to some and a godsend to others.
All in all a great week. Recommended.

With a family with an age range from 6 to 94 years old, Park Hall was perfect. The grounds are lovely - wonderful lawns for ball games (provided by the house) and perfect for relaxing with the view of the sea. The large conservatory was the hub of the house for our family and the two lounges and games room provided everyone with entertainment or a quiet place to sit. The house was very well equipped and the owners, Claire and Andreas, were welcoming and friendly. It was just a five minute walk to the beach and the coastal path. The beach is not sandy but great for exploring the caves and swimming in the river that meets the sea.

We all had a wonderful time at Park Hall. The location is stunning with only a short walk to the beach (5minsTops). The house was spacious and had a lovely Edwardian ambience. The kitchen was well equipped plently of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There was 3 fridges but only 1 medium freezer. The bedrooms were clean and spacious with very cumfy beds. There were 20 people in our group and the house accomodated us amply.

We had a lovely family get together for a Ruby Anniversary. Age range from 91 to 6. Children enjoyed the piano and Pool table big hit with all.
Even though the kitchen was very well equipped it is very small for this size of house. The view from house is stunning also the grounds.

Perfect place for a family get together. Loads of space. Lovely big dining room overlooking garden and sea. Children loved the garden and even persuaded some adults to rolypoly down the bank. Setting worked perfectly for fireworks too. Just a short walk to see seals on the beach. Cliff walk into New Quay was an adventure including getting the bus back, singing along with the driver and co. Roger and Carol were excellent hosts, thank you so much.

Park Hall is a comfortable, well equipped house. It Is spacious enough to accommodate our extended family of 20 in comfort. It is a real home from home. The setting is superb, just a short stroll from the cove and the garden is great for the children to enjoy games of football, cricket etc or just to relax in. Something for everyone.
There are some beautiful beaches just a short drive away. Llangranog was a favourite.
We loved it!

A fantastic break was enjoyed by a large group of families, gathering to celebrate some special birthdays. Roger and Carol were hugely welcoming and helpful, while remaining inconspicuous during our stay. Park Hall is a beautiful house, set in gorgeous grounds and has the most amazing views down the valley to the sea. The house is very well equipped and the conservatory was perfect for our large group to enjoy sociable meals together.
We were lucky with the weather while we were at Park Hall, but even if it had rained every day the games room would have easily kept us all occupied. The children and dog loved the fact that the beach is only a short stroll away.
The locality is lovely. Roger and Carol provide really helpful information about the area. We enjoyed exploring New Quay, dolphin and seal spotting (you can see the house from the boat!) and walking the coastal path. We are already planning our next visit!

Our holiday party of 20 found Park Hall a perfect base for a week of family visits to beaches, castles and relatives.
The large conservatory with its magnificent table was perfect for several great family meals. Whilst the kitchen was small it accomplished, along with a variety of chefs, many large succulent meals, enjoyed by all.
The owners are in the process of selling and hopefully the new keepers will maintain the property in the rental market as this is too good a setting not to be enjoyed by many others.

An unforgettable week spent at Park Hall. The house was spacious to absorb up to 16 people easily with two very comfortable lounges and a conservatory for dining in with a beautiful outloook onto the grounds and down to the beach. It was warm, comfortable and made especially welcoming and seasonal with the Christmas tree and decorations for this time of the year! The games room was another great feature, enabling us to spend many hours playing table tennis / pool tournaments! The house is set in the most picturesque spot and we loved the easy access it gave to the Ceridigion Coastal Path as well as to the sea itself. There is no phone signal but we found that a blessing rather than an inconvenience! However, there is WiFi at the property.
The bedrooms were comfortable and roomy and most have en-suite facilities. We would highly recommend Park Hall as a great place for family get-together or specIal events. We certainly enjoyed every minute spent there over the Christmas week, 2017.

This property was ideal for our family party of eight adults and nine children aged between four and eleven. With comfortable bedrooms and lounges, and with a huge garden and fabulous views, the highlight inside the house was undoubtedly the large dining room/conservatory, where we enjoyed lengthy evening meals, and which looks over the garden. We were all new to the area, and were very impressed with the beautiful coastline and peaceful inland lanes and villages. The kitchen was very well equipped. Table tennis and pool provided good competition! This place is special and is highly recommended.

Beautiful location, comfortable accommodation, wonderful conservatory and grounds. We had a super w/end, blessed with good weather for walking, sea canoeing and generally pottering. Fabulous holiday in a great house. We stay in lots of big houses because it is a chance for our large family scattered across the globe to get together. This is the best equipped house we have stayed in. The conservatory is great for sitting down together to eat. Short walk to a lovely ( pebbly) beach. Loads of room to play in the garden and friendly helpful owners. Brilliant all round. Thanks

We stayed at Park Hall for 3 nights after Easter and had a fabulous time. There were 16 in our group of various ages - plus 3 dogs -and we all had a fabulous time. The house was very comfortable with a large garden and great views. Even though we were a large group you could always find a quiet space if you wished. We especially appreciated the large dining table in the conservatory and the games room.
The only negative comment I would make is that the kitchen is very small and makes catering rather difficult- but this is out weighed by all the other positive factors.

Park Hall is the ideal property for large groups wishing to be near to all the wonderful coastline views of Wales. It was in very easy reach of the coastline and offered our group with exemplary accommodation in an exquisitely delightful private setting. The owners were so wonderful too. We built some fond memories here and will be returning soon.

We held my wife's 60th birthday party at Park Hall. It was perfect. A lovely house in fantastic grounds with loads of room for the children to run about. Wow, fabulously warm and cosy house even in February! Plenty of heating and hot water for our large party of 14.
Extremely well equipped house with everything you could possibly need.
Carol and Roger were very friendly and the welcome tray was a lovely touch.
Everybody commented on what a great find the property was and great location just a short dawdle down to the coastal path for great walks in either direction we went to New Quay and the waterfalls on route were stunning.
Kids loved the games room and Piano so plenty to keep all entertained.
We all agreed would definitely use this house again and again!

We booked the house at late notice and were really pleased with the size and facilities of the house, given we were 5 families some with small children. The fact that all the rooms except the bunk rooms had en suite was great. The large dining area worked well for group meals and the open fire in the lounge was cosy. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed plus there's a large pantry. No WI-FI really but that was just what we all needed. So secluded and quite. Easy stroll to the pebbled beach and we even enjoyed a New Years dip in the sheltered sea. Roger and Carol were helpful on arrival and we didn't need to speak to them again apart from to borrow some washing powder- thank you. Tesco delivered to the door no problem despite being down a track.
Would definitely return. Thank you

Park Hall was ideal for our family group with its room and grounds near an attractive cove from where we saw seals and dolphins. Park Hall is a lovely big old house well furnished with big rooms and very welcoming for our week in late summer. The slightly small kitchen, though very well equipped with all facilities,is cosy when more than 2 people are catering, and beware the step. But so what? It was known about beforehand and doesn't detract from major enjoyment, just needs to be understood if limited personal mobility. It's a great place for quiet relaxation or active outdoor pursuits. It's got a (limited) bus service too!

We had a lovely time at Park Hall. The Hall itself is a large building dominating the local environment and has 8 bedrooms seven of which had either a shower or a bath and a lavatory. We didn't like the electric pump in one of the main bedrooms as it was noisy if used at night. The kitchen is well equipped but a bit small and awkwardly placed for the main dining area which was in a large conservatory looking out onto a lovely garden which itself was ideal for the children to enjoy themselve running down a steep hill towards the sea. There was a games room and the children and some of the adults enjoyed playing pool which could be converted to table tennis . There was also a darts board but we didn't use this. The lounge was comfortable with a good sized television with free to view channels and rather hard to understand controls.
The location was down a narrow road and access by a small bridge across a little river which provided a lot of fun for the dogs and children. The road ran down to a lovely cove with a stony beach and access to delightful cliff walks. We were a party of seven children and eight adults all of whom thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There was no mobile reception and limited WiFi (good).

We've just spent a lovely family holiday at Park Hall celebrating dad's 80th. Beautiful house and grounds. There's plenty of space and facilities for large families of all ages to relax and enjoy. Large conservatory with seating for 20 was brilliant for us- likewise the large bedrooms and en suite facilities. Sand/pebble beach within short walking distance and access to coastal walks. Our thanks to Roger & Carol.

We were a family party of 10 adults and 7 young children, the house was amazing and gave us so much space to enjoy. The children loved the garden and would be outside as soon as they woke in the morning.
One of the best large houses we have found !
Cwmtydu bay was a short stroll from the garden and we saw a seal in the bay and dolphins from the coastal path, what more could you wish for.

Our second stay at this wonderful, beautifully located house. A large family group with varying ages, we had a great time. The house is solid and noise does not travel, so when the little ones are up early it's still nice and quiet. We had rounders and football on the amazing grounds, and visits to the sea which is a very short walk away.
The views are amazing.
The bedding is nice and there is more than enough crockery, cutlery for a large group.
Thanks for a great holiday hope to return again.

Park Hall was the perfect place for our family's celebrations - the owners were extremely helpful and welcoming and yet unobtrusive. The property was amazing and lacked for nothing, especially the kitchen which had everything that we needed and more to cater for our celebrations. The bedrooms and en suites were perfect and had a combination of beds to suit just about anyone. The games room was well used and only one 50p was required to work the pool table for the whole stay and the adjacent store room with extra fridge freezer was perfect as the alcohol store! The area is amazing and a 5 minute walk takes you to a lovely cove and the start of coastal walks in either direction. Newquay is only a short drive away and we visited on more than one occasion and did see dolphins jumping in the bay without the need for a boat trip.
Beside the standard of the house and the well kept grounds, the large Conservatory was perfect for our celebrations and was well used by us both night and day.
I can thoroughly recommend this property to anyone!

Great place for a small crowd! You can make your own entertainment and have a party or barbque in the house in a great setting. We walked the coastal path to Newquay, the walk took an hour and half and the views were great, we could see the snow capped peaks of Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula on the way before enjoying a few ales in the Black Lion pub.
We had a taxi back and ordered a Thai takeaway , delivered to the door!
A great day out enjoyed by the kids and adults and a great weekend enjoyed by all.

The owners left out wine, brandy, mince pies & lots of nibbles for when we arrived ! The dining room has a beautiful view & large dining table ! The bedrooms were spotless and varied in size X the heating & hot water throughout the house was great ! The games room satisfied the boys ! There was also lots board games & books there to choose from as well ! There is a short walk to the beach and a lovely tea room where we had homemade cakes and coffee ! The only small negetive would be the small kitchen X

A family reunion with 4 generations, everyone loved Park Hall with lots to do inside and out, very well equipped with everything you need for a break away for all ages. The booking was simple and straightforward with fantastic communication with Carol and Roger. All the rooms were lovely and comfortable and the bedrooms had fantastic views. I can't recommend Park Hall enough thanks to Roger and Carol, we would all love to go back and try the summer there.

Lovely secluded location just a minute or two from the sea and stunning clifftop walks. A great week was had by all despite the weather! We had space to do our own thing and the facilities to get together for family meals - we even managed a BBQ between showers. It was just right for us.

Probably would not have booked this property if we had known that
Owners lived so close on same site. They were not exactly friendly. Broadband often switched off even though no signal for cell phones. Kitchen on the small side with a step in the middle a potential trip hazard.

We returned for a second great family holiday. The house and garden are beautiful and the location superb. The children loved exploring the large house and the enclosed, safe garden complete with hidden path. The proximity of the beach allowed people to come and go without using a car. The bay had everything- sand, rocks and even a stream. Some members of our party were delighted to be investigated by the seals while they were swimming. The bay had very few human visitors making supervision of children in the water very easy.
We would wish to alter only one aspect of Park Hall- the internet access. Most of our party are used to unlimited, fast broadband. When it becomes available improved internet access will be the final piece of an otherwise perfect jigsaw.
We hope to return again sometime.

A lovely property in beautiful surroundings. Since we had several young family members who enjoy Pool we thought it was unreasonable to expect them to pay 50p per game considering the amount we had paid for the week's rent.
The kitchen was a bit on the small side when catering for 14 but apart from that it was good.

A truly amazing weekend was had at this impressive house in the country.
19 members of our family from various locations around the country descended on this beautiful Welsh seaside location (and the family dogs x3). Beautiful decorated clean rooms all with their own bathrooms (except one), a fantastic dinning room with an enormous table, a games room with a pool table and darts board (in the house and not stuck out In a barn like usual!) a small but extremely well equipped kitchen and two sitting rooms.
The walks are beautiful and even the weather was fantastic.....we'll definitely be back.
Oh .....and a massive thank you to the couple in the beach cafe for the orange juice! Also do lovely ice creams

Up there with the best..

5 couples, 20 years of annual March weekend breaks, permanent home in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (..ie , holiday wise, we need a seriously good location!).So many years of doing ths & we have experienced the good, the bad, and the truly ugly. We've stayed in private lets ( most likely to present with undesirable surprises and prone to economies of truth as regards accomodation, youth hostels ( fun, & mass-catering kitchens but may be a tad on the no-frills side) , National Trust (extremely high standards and very hard to beat)..etc etc.
Ok, so this one is very well up there with the 'Good' group.
The location is superb, 2 mins walk to the cove, 5 miles in either direction via a fab walk along the cliff path to Newquay, or Llangranog - each having a delightful pub for good lunches, coffee etc. Bedrooms outshine those in National Trust houses, with large doubles, good comfy mattresses & pillows, cosy duvets. Plenty of wardrobe space all round, and (as we were only 5 couples) all had private facilities. Unusually, seating and dining space was generous so we could all sit together. The kitchen is small, but contains everything a group can possibly want - even a juicer!
Some minor downsides - Internet is limited, and no mobile signal ( though there is a pay phone) We soon learned to enjoy the peace & did a lot of talking. There is a charge to use the pool table, a deposit required for darts and a damage deposit of £250 ( returned without problem..) - a little taken aback by this as we have never experienced any of this in any other let.We can only assume that somebody must have disrespected this lovely house in the past.
Whatever, a beautiful, 'off the radar' place. Really hoping to return, and many thanks to Carol and Roger.

head of a large family birthday weekend, excellent location and property

limited internet access which for most of us not an issue, but the teenagers among us felt like they had lost an arm when they used the allowance. phone reception none existent and again the teenagers felt isolated, while the adults among us remember life without mobile phones and loved the peace

all rooms suited our needs and we had plenty of space to spread out. we had an open fire going all weekend. noise didn't carry through the property so the late to bed and the early risers didn't disturb each other

the teenagers having to find alternative entertainment other than their phones and internet, made good use of the games available and actual had fun and talked to each other, and the telly was hardly used as we went all old fashioned and entertained ourselves

will be organising another stay in the future

There were 13 of us at Park Hall for Christmas 2014, 6 adults,7 children. We all had a great time and felt very relaxed and at home. If we had a problem the owners were quick to help us and were very helpful in many other ways. We have already recommended it to our friends, as finding a house big enough for large families is very difficult, we would definitly go back again.
