The Barn and Stable holiday cottages are adjoining buildings with separate entrances. Booked together, these properties comfortably sleep 16 guests for a pleasant group stay in the stunning English countryside in Northumberland.

We had a fabulous stay in Broadmea. Our group stayed in the barn and stable and they were just perfect. Perfect space for a group or families holidaying together. They have everything you would need for your stay in the beautiful surrounds. We will definitely return.

We booked Broadmea Barn and Stable for the weekend to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and my Birthday with our best friends and their families. Both buildings are well equipped and beautifully decorated throughout. The multiple floors allowed our group plenty of space to socialise and the kids to play on their PS5 (yes, one brought his with him).

There were only 10 of us this time and we were all able to eat in the Barn. We have stayed here before (10 years ago, for our Wedding and my 40th Birthday celebrations) and this was the perfect location to return to for a special weekend away together.

The bedrooms are just as beautifully decorated and the beds are lovely and comfortable. One of our friends has had the best weekend of sleep than she has had in a long time and she travels a lot with work.

It has been lovely to see the changes made over the last 10 years, including the installation of hot tubs for each property, keeping the properties up to date.

Thank you to Trish for creating such beautiful holiday homes. We will be back to stay again (and won't wait 10 years this time).

Beyond our expectations!
Before arriving Patricia kept me informed with regular emails. When we all arrived we were so happy with the accommodation, surroundings and the hot tubs.
Everything has been done tastefully and with thought.
Perfect for a large celebration.

Lovely family weekend age range 3-88 accommodation was really good plenty of space to relax and chill. Sauna was very good, hot tubs were okay although due to the weather we were unable to use one of them. Would highly recommend for a family break

We hired the Barn and Stable as a group of friends and family to celebrate a milestone birthday. Both properties were in excellent condition and very well appointed.
We hired bath robes which were great for lounging in and using for the hot tubs.
Any queries we had were quickly answered by the owner. We would not hesitate to book again.

We have stayed at Broadmea for the past 10 years and we absolutely love it we hire out stable and barn and the standard every year is 100%. It has everything you need and Patricia the owner couldn't be more helpful. The walks around are fab and there is a local pub opening up again which is dab it closed during covid and has been re camped called The Kirkstyle inn and it is ten minures from venue walking. Roll on the next 10years an amazing venue x absolutely love it x

Booked both the stable and the barn for a 50th birthday weekend , 2nd time staying at Broadmea. Absolutely amazing time was had by all , every aspect of our stay was 5* beautiful property and Pat was a fantastic host ,Thank you so much once again .

Our group of 16 stayed for 3 nights at the Barn and Stable property, and it was fantastic! The scenery, the facilities and the accommodation was amazing, and the two hot tubs were a fabulous addition to the stay. We’d definitely recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We have just concluded a 3 night stay at Broadmea. We rented the barn and stable for a family getaway. The cottages themselves were beautiful inside and out, set in picturesque surroundings and stocked with everything we could ever need. The decor and attention to detail were second to none. The hosts were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you for providing the perfect setting for a family getaway!

Beautiful property. Only downside, no covers on hot tubs which make them barely useable in Winter this was a little disappointing due to heavy rain we didn’t get much use out of the tubs at all. The barn and stable are beautiful inside and have everything you would need. We booked the barn and stable for 8 adults and 6 children and found we had plenty of space.

Gorgeous setting, beautiful accommodation, friendly host, great for a large group of friends but would be equally as good for family stays!
