Waterloo Lodge immediately wrapped us up in homeliness by its fresh, clean decor, tasteful furnishings, crisp linen and fluffy towels and robes, and, of course, its stunning view. All of this made for an incredibly comfortable and relaxing stay with everything we required and more, including a beautiful 'Lewismen' chess board which was an unexpected treat. The location also meant that we could enjoy listening to and watching the birdlife, whilst seeing deer below the garden in the evening was such a joy.
