Kempley Barns: The Bullpen, Great Barn and Granary

A courtyard of three ancient stone barns and heated indoor pool nestling in our private valley surrounded by 50 acres of meadows, orchards, streams and ponds close to the Malvern Hills, Forest of Dean, Wye Valley and cathedral cities of Gloucester Worcester and Hereford. The barns are perfectly placed for trips out or relaxing days in.

Latest Review - August 2025

Just been to Kempley Barns for our 4 th time. Our family of 13 ( age 4-80) love spending our summer holiday here with hosts Pet and Bob. If I could give location higher than 5 I would. We enjoyed canoeing on the Wye and visiting various National Trust properties and just relaxing.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Kempley Barns. It was perfect for a family reunion and great fun with the pool. We hope to be able to stay again in the near future.

The barns have been lovingly restored and provide the perfect holiday location with the swimming pool, games barn and beautiful surrounding countryside. The barn is very well equipped with stylish furnishings. Lots of activities and interesting places to visit locally. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Kempley Great Barn.
