Warm greeting, friendly. Lovely welcome pack. Quiet relaxing environment. Great to see animals, apple trees and have the freedom to walk the fields as you pleased. Top notch decor and facilities in the barn. Non intrusive owners even though on site. Very clean and homely. Perfect stay.
We had a wonderful stay. This is a top notch holiday home, which is well organised. We would recommend this property to friends and family. And we will keep it on ourlist of properties we're happy to return to. We had an excellent holiday.
We stayed in the Tractor barn for 5 nights, 3 generations and a very happy dog, Sylvia is super helpful and friendly but not intrusive, there's plenty of outside space for all ages and dogs to enjoy, the accommodation is of a really high standard, extremely clean and the extra touches of fresh flowers, eggs and homemade cake are really nice, treats and a ball for the very happy dog. This was our fourth visit and hopefully won't be out last. The hot tub was fantastic, warm, clean and the perfect place to enjoy the peace and quiet along with the stars.
Everything you need for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend the home made pies at the farm shop! The jacuzzi was brilliant with gorgeous views. Sylvia as always (we’ve been to DCB several times) a great host leaving us with fresh duck eggs, home made cake and a bottle of wine . Highly recommend DCB!
We had an amazing time over New Year's, spending two nights in Orchard Barn. We were greeted by our hosts, who welcomed us and explained everything, then left us to our own devices, but were always on call should we need any help. The barn itself is easy to find, immaculately maintained, and in stunning surroundings. On arrival, we were met with a bottle of champagne, fresh eggs, milk, and a delicious cake. Our stay was cosy and comfy, and very relaxing. A short drive takes you across the border into Cornwall, and we had a great time exploring a few landmarks, including Tintagel Castle. On...more
